Player profiles released

Wests Tigers have today released the 2013 players profiles on the club's official website.

The profiles include players from the NRL and NYC squads and give Members and fans an insight into the players, including statistics and past achievements.

Wests Tigers fans can check out new signings, including Braith Anasta, Bodene Thompson and Eddy Pettybourne.

The Wests Tigers NYC and NSW Cup squads are still to be finalised and will be updated accordingly.

Be sure to run the rule over Luke Brooks, Mitchell Moses and Taqele Naiyaravoro.

The Wests Tigers Digital team has included the Twitter handles of the socially minded players including captain @robbiefarah, @chrislawrence04 and @aaronwoods11.

As the season goes on, fans can expect to view video profiles to gain a greater insight into what makes the Wests Tigers players tick.

Make sure you keep an eye out for the joker in the pack. Which established club player has been booked in to have his headshot done after being unavailable for the photoshoot?

Some of them have been, but only a couple as far as I can tell. Fotuaika is listed at 104kg, last year he was listed at 100kg. Most look the same…I thought someone like Sirro would weigh more than 95kg this year given he's still growing.

I thought Groat was 110kg last year whereas this year he is 112kg. Quite impressed by that given he looks leaner.

Think Sironen wld kill for an off season where he cld hit the weights & actually build himself up a little rather than just recover from injuries
Couple of observations;
1)Lote is in the 25
2)Theres plenty of big guys in the 25,enough to not get steamrolled yet again by the dominant teams,but many of our biggest have little 1st grade experience
3)Pettybourne only 101kgs…not gonna dominate at prop which is where we'll want him after a few injuries

That's more like it. He'll probably go around at 105 or 106kg in 2014 and will make a very handy 13.

There is no shortage of young forward talent for 2013 and it is unlikely that there will any complaints about the availabilty of competent weight in the pack.
