But a semi fit fonua dropping high balls will get crucified ?

Not to his face Steve  well not by me anyway.
I think the 'under the high ball' isnt that relative these days anyway.. Kicks to the wingers happens every now and then but not as much as it used to. He can be a game breaker on his day, I'd rather that than the other options we have on the wing. We need points.

Yep I’m with you. I’d like to see him get a chance - not sure whether centre or wing. Good kickers can target him. I disagree with the argument he was inconsistent- he played well before injury and then after injury was slowly getting better each week.

I was looking at some old highlights of fonua when he was in the superleague, he has plenty of talent, and seems to be decent under the highball, he just needs to keep in form thats all

I think overall, Fonua's ability under the high ball is below average and if he doesn't improve this first and foremost, he wont be seeing much first grade at all…

Probably Brooks and Mbye who both should get better and better. Looking forward to some of the young players also even if not in NRL. Cini looks a real talent.

Garner for me.
This guy reminds me so much of Beaver Menzies. Tackles hard, runs great lines and good speed for an edge backrower.
He could be anything.

Yes! Great comparison. I really like this kid and your comparison between his style and Beaver’s style is spot on. Now, if only we had a Cliffy!!

He’ll be hated and labaled a plodder 6 rounds in.

It will happen, gaurenteed. Eisenhuth was pretty popular when he debuted if you can believe it. He was turned on pretty fast.

Not this kid - he's a level above.

I’m interested in Aloiai. He’s really flown under the radar. Early last year looked like he was going to another level, but then tapered off. Have a feeling he might linger in ISP.

I have a strong feeling Eisenhuth will thrive this year. He has looked his best when just going forward. His yardage when doing that looks very good, but too often Ivan had him as a ball playing forward. I think Madge will get him to just run hard and that will see him churn out 150+ meters a game. Big body and big motor, if used right he can do well.

Personally think these numbers are beyond him consistently. Glad to be proven wrong but I don’t see him in the side come 2020.

Early ball to Marsters and he will take it to another level

Matterson ,Mikaele and another off season for Garner

Got this funny feeling Packer will find his mongrel …..... hopefully we really hunt as a pack in 2019 and put the hurt on opposition sides

Be great to see clubs not want to play us

A fit reynolds. He is a champion
Liddle to kick on and challenge for a blues spot
Packer. Our form slump started when he got injured. My mate played against him for years and said he is a really intimidating presence on the park. Pack leader and if used correctly this year, can see us mixing it up with all the other packs

There's a few.

Can Brooks can continue on from last year and find the next gear?
Will Matterson bring his Chooks form and add value in the second row?
Will Twal start and will it be in the front row/lock?
Can Reynolds stay fit and bring some consistency to the halves with Brooks?
Will Momo start, and will the plaudits he comes with be validated?

True Col, but almost always, eleven of the twelve were the same ones that Packerlino were playing alongside and conceding less points, were they not?

I'm hoping Momirovski gets picked and runs a good angle for Brooks to pick up.
Also looking forward to seeing Matterson in the back row.

I'm mostly looking forward to seeing Reynolds, hopefully we play him at five-eighth with Brooks at halfback and Benji in reserve grade thanks. Hopefully Reynolds can have a good year without getting injured.
