i think there may be one or two others, so we have either let or got rid of these players and in return we got 3 second tier backs. And they say we have no room under the cap i for one feel the club is either not spending the full amount or we really have some idoits running our cap. the dogs and broncos and now the sharks just keep signing players and the NRL say nothing, and us fans are just meant to say so what. its about time we all ask MR SMITH what the hell is going on.
surely we must be able to get some back rowers for next year.

They also might be not spending all of the cap this year so they can use some if it next year to spend in a big player, like the roosters did for Maloney when he signed with them

It also has to be noted players like Anasta and Koro were never contracted beyond 2014, so they had no bearing on our 2015 cap

Realistically I don't care who goes as long as we replace them with someone of superior quality that will have a go and earn their pay..
We don't need fringe first graders or has beens on the brink of retirement.
You would think that WTs have learnt from their previous mistakes and don't go over ploughed ground..
If players don't want to be here,then show them the door,if they do want to be here then wear the Tigers jumper with pride and respect.

The cap issue was never going to be resolved in 12 months. So the issues we had only a short time ago are probably still a concern on some level.

I am all for taking the time to get the books in order before trying to recruit big names. Sign the nursery and recruit for the gaps in the coming years.

You need to understand that re-signing a lot of juniors last year resulted in these players receiving substantial upgrades to their contracts.

something to note, i believe we were still paying gibbs and fifita until this year. not much, maybe 100-200k between the two.

He retired at the end of 2013 anyway, only to come back to help his depleted Sharkies out.
