As long as we don't get to the point where we refuse to say the oppositions name, that was hocus pocus.

Do we already have one mate ? This seems ludicrous that we don’t . We’ve got. Whole welfare team , yet no one with a psychology degree . Seems strange to me

I firmly believe in sports psychology as a way to get a small 1-2% edge when you have exhausted everything physically to get an edge. Training hard, good tactics, good recruitment, all working collectively towards the same goal etc.

When your club behaviours include releasing your better players, players bingeing on Oporto, blaming each other for poor performance, telling players they’re welcome to join other clubs for years running, I think sports psychology is superfluous. You have already lost the mental battle.

I would say that sort of stuff would be referred outside the club by the people in those welfare roles. I do know of someone who was in discussions with the club around ideas in this area.

I would say that sort of stuff would be referred outside the club by the people in those welfare roles. I do know of someone who was in discussions with the club around ideas in this area.

Makes sense really . You wouldn’t want the person treating the players to be influenced in any way , by the fact they are an employee of the club. A completely unbiased , non conflicted person .

It does however stop the drop in ,the player wandering pass the Docs office , looking for a convo. I know there’s people there , but it wouldnt hold the same gravitas , as much as that’s probably an insult to people like Joe Gulavao who seems very good at his job .
I think most people need to see one in today’s society . Everything has moved to being so interconnected, that only intellectuals and those with a soap box seem to be advocating for the digital worlds toxicity.
We are all so addicted to the dopamine hit , that a lot of these social media platforms are designed to provide . Get the hit , let it down , then slowly but surely crave another one . Not unlike the pokies .

This is especially true for people in the public space . For people like footy players , I imagine they are extremely confident , which you need to be , that to go online and read the stuff on here , it would be extremely damaging to thier psych . That’s not to say I feel sorry for them or anything like that , as many , arnt the best at being humans , so there’s an arguement they need the reality check , but more if you’re trying to maximise your football team and win footy games having these guys at the top of thier game is vital.

It Is very ironic that i am now writing this post in this thread that i created that was meant for highlighting the need and the importance of the awareness of social behaviour on social media such as this forum.

On this forum we have thread's that are titled such as "Have you been vaccinated?" and would you vaccinate....?

Some people have openly admitted that they are not or will not get vaccinated for various reasons, but the main reason is that they are worried about its safety and the negative effects it could have on their health. Other people would be too hesitant to admit that they are anti-vaxxers, knowing that there would be harsh backlash from the forum and that they would be incapable of defending themselves.

The word "anti-vax" and the people who are anti-vaxxers, is synonymous with conspiracy theorists, spreading misinformation and propaganda,

To my pleasant suprise (not being sarcastic) the reactions and replies that these anti-vax or i won't get vaccinated people received in the above mentioned threads were mostly respectful and mostly unabusive. For example some comments were made such as "it's your choice and i hope you and your family are o.k and safe"

Everyone would know that in this country, although the advice is and it is strongly advised by the government to get vaccinated, it is still not compulsory to do so, but the facts are the "anti-vax" people are seen by some as if these people have disregarded a law that doesn't exist and are seen and treated as some sort of Criminals.

Now, speaking about the law, in a recent post that i posted on the "Coronavirus Outbreak" thread, some people here on this forum have treated me in a manner that would be described to say the least, as unacceptable and unlawful, i'll show you how and why.

But the harsh treatment that i received was not because i stated any of my views on the issue of vaccinating or that i am an anti-vaxxer, it was only because i mentioned the name of a Doctor that i recently learnt about and then **ASKED** a question to the forum.

I gave an example of how some people were treated for being brave enough and admitting that they will not vaccinate, but now here is a sample of the comments that i received **for asking a question about this doctor**, who is or was one of the pioneers of the mRNA vaccine.

Stop kidding yourself, you asked loaded questions. You incited the responses you got. Basically you were trolling, attention seeking behaviour. When no one responded to your post in the Crypto thread you got upset, claiming you were being ignored. No. I feel more strongly about the issue after listening to the anti-vaxxer brigade sprouting their nonsense.

It's this simple - you and others like you were propagating disinformation that leads to deaths. It has already done this.

Do not lie to yourself about what you did. You either have no idea about science and I mean none at all or you are outwardly trolling.

I never heard of the Doctor you mentioned but you later apologized after researching that he was part of the deadly anti-vaxxer brigade.

If you don't understand science at all fair enough but the problem is I explained how science worked to you previously and you didn't get it.

I'll repeat it to you. Science doesn't care about opinions. Science is reality.

I posted the CDC data. I told people to speak to their GP. In response I had people like yourself giving me twitter feeds from "gorgeous truths" or something like that. It's nonsense.

If a cult leader incites people to commit suicide is that morally right ? In my opinion this is exactly the same as spreading disinformation related to COVID.
