Wests Tigers cheerleader Kymberley Roebuck will present her Big League Cheergirl of the Year prize to the family of Lleyton Giles at the Sydney Football Stadium this Saturday night.
>
Like most Wests Tigers supporters, Kymberley was touched by the story of the brave five-year-old and the courage he has shown in his battle against a terminal liver condition.
>
Prior to the final being judged by the public, Kymberley decided to donate any prizes from the competition to the Giles family as her way of supporting Lleyton.
>
Kymberley will present the first prize of a $2000 voucher from GoDo.com.au prior to the NRL kick-off.
>
Go Do is a leisure/adventure website offering thousands of different activities such as whale watching, weekends away, helicopter rides and much more.
>
Last weekend, Lleyton and his father, Wes, were flown to the Gold Coast for the Titans match courtesy of the Wests Tigers where they stayed at the team hotel.
>
Wes and Lleyton enjoyed the opportunity of spending time with the players and coaching staff.
>
Inside the games room, Llyeton joined the players for a car racing game. Later Gareth Ellis won a Finding Nemo stuffed toy in a skills tester machine at his first attempt and handed it to his little friend.
>
The following morning, Lleyton and Wes enjoyed the rides and dolphins at Sea World after the wonderful team at Sea World provided them with VIP passes.
**Wests Tigers Captain Robbie Farah says the team has “adopted” Lleyton as one of their own.\
\
“He is such a great, bubbly kid and we love having him around the place,’’ Farah said.\
\
“Just seeing the smile on his face definitely inspires us.**
>
“For us to bring a smile to his face, they are the things that make you happy to be a footy player. To have little kids look up to you and to bring some happiness to them, you can’t ask for much more than that.”
>
Wes Giles said the generosity and warmth being shown by the Wests Tigers was not lost on his family.
>
“People are saying Lleyton is inspiring the team but he is drawing on their inspiration,’’ Wes said.
>
**“The other night, he had a pretty bad nose bleed and when I rushed in to see him, all he was worried about was whether it would stop him from going to Queensland to see the Tigers play.**
“He is a strong kid who just loves being around the players. Our family knows the Wests Tigers are very genuine in their love and care for Lleyton.”
>
Lleyton also had the opportunity to shake the players’ hands as they ran onto the field.
>
The beautiful little boy with the cheeky grin has now become a very big part of the Wests Tigers family.

Great Stuff Wests Tigers…

All the best Lleyton....tenacious little bloke

The tigers are very impressive in the way they have taken the young fella as one of their own. I applaud all at the tigers who have helped Lleyton to live out a dream

Great work by Kymberley donating her prize money to Lleyton, look forward to seeing that on Saturday, still remember the scenes at Campbelltown, they were tremendous.

It's a noble gesture and I hope the little fella can see the Tigers win the comp this year.
