Yep sorry my bad . I just get irritated by this stuff. Everybody is happy to throw naps at each other . But there’s very rarely any offers of solutions . It drives me crazy. I want racism to end and us to move forward and focus on things like , the environment , space exploration etc . So much better things for our human minds to focus on . But show me a solution! Otherwise STFU !

It was a player initiative which I encourage and whilst obviously on the back of the US Floyd situation, the leg swipe that had the handcuffed indigenous youngster busting teeth when hitting the ground was a further huge catalyst here.

At least those protests had most wearing masks, but I didn't hear boo about the other protests a week or two beforehand where it was more like the opening up Victoria ones on which our leader commented on it being their right to do so. More virus control on display there than in the general population from what I have seen and this photographer from the empty seat shows.

Busted teeth? Is there any evidence of this? I heard he was checked over in hospital and released with minor injuries. Not broken teeth.
He told the cop "I'm gonna crack your jaw" before the cop threw him on the ground. The smart-arse got what he deserved IMO. Threaten a cop like that and you get a hiding.....fair play in my book. No respect deserves a no-respect response. Simple really.

How dare players be against.... racism? What’s political about wanting everyone to be treated fairly, that’s all it was about.

Why now though all of a sudden? Why not any time in the last 100 years? It reeks of trying to follow a trend.

Have you not noticed the Australian day protests every year and more.... protesting against racism in Australia has been happening a while now.

Um ... that’s not what these protests are about. And the fact people like you , are saying that is my point . You don’t even know why they’re happening. Racism is an issue . Of course it is. But this is ? opportunism . And nothing else . And it defeats the whole thing.

I never said that’s what the protests are about. I said the protests are against racism and he said ‘why only now’ and I said they’ve been protesting against racism and for indigenous rights for years now... which is true. Don’t tell me what I do and don’t know, I know exactly why these protests are happening and what they’re about.

Did they do it in the NRL? I saw they did it in the AFL tonight. Every sportsperson wants to be a Yank tryhard these days. It's both sad and hilarious. That's why every NRL promo these days features as much dancing as it does on-field action. Those Foxsports promo's make me wanna chunder every time they come on. It's embarrassing really.

Shortly Victoria will be owned by the CCP... they better get used to bowing as they will be doing more than kneeing !

If you think being against racism, EVEN if people are jumping on a Trend is bad, then you’re an idiot. Being against racism no Matter how you do it is good. There’s plenty of changes the indigenous people want here, do some research and you’ll find them.

Who’s a boomer ? I’m 35 dude . I’ve spent more than 10 years travelling both in defence and as a civilian . I’ve been to war zones, Asia the USA ,Europe . I have an autistic son, half Middle eastern neice/nephews and grew up in Western Sydney at the height of the drug wars and Lebanese gang violence.
My family we’re battlers and as such went through the hardships that come with that . I’m now in an a very good job and have seen both sides .
I’ve seen so much change over my short life in regards to many things . So tell me what it is that you know that I apparently don’t ?
You need to stop assuming that everyone has bad intentions . And that your generation is in on something no one else knows . No we know ! In fact many of us remember when it was way worse.
So I ask again . If it’s not to enact a specific change , what is the actual point ?

Im sick of this BLM crap that is going on because of an incident that happened in the USA...
Our indigenous brothers and sisters get looked after very well since many reforms were put in place by previous Govts..
I know its all about black deaths in custody,but let me ask this..
If a person is incarcerated either,black,white ,yellow, green or whatever colour,is he not there for doing a criminal act and the judicial system has put him or her there ??
So in having said that,over many years white people have died while """in custody"""either being targeted by gang members,druggos, bikies or ethic groups...some have been beaten by police …
the reality lies in the people themselves and their character,most are smug smartarses or big tough crims (and are of all skin colour)which intimidates others,which therefore creates despise and hate...
I can see arguments for all,however it is my belief that these protests are just organised by few who desperately want recognition...
I will give you an example of what I have witnessed in my days in the Riverina where many indigenous people live...we had a family of Aboriginals live in my neibourhood,the mum worked the dad worked and their 2 boys played footy with my club..the eldest lad was with me and 2 teammates out for dinner and drinks one night...an Aboriginal group of 4 men walked towards us in the main street,1 of them said to our aboriginal friend,"hey bro what are you doing with the white trash" ...our friend spoke to them and all was well,he said to me" this is why we all get a bad name"...
so in my conclusion I certainly wont march or protest in the name of BLM...

And then we were all talking and laughing together ..weird experience ..

But what got me was they didn't know me from a bar of soap one moment and we going to beat the crap out of me ..next minute they are fist bumping me like we are besties ...probably says more about ALL of us as humanity
