As to my above post,I was called white trash,if I called him a black bastard Im depicted as racist...go figure...

Mate you both are ! Why did either of those things need to be said ? Why do we even think it to begin with ? This is my whole point ! We waste our time calling people racists and bigots and bla bla , when we should be talking about the why!
Like the blm protests here ! If there’s no point and it’s just racism sucks . Then everyone will go , yep racism does suck ........ so who’s playing on Sunday ? No one does anything , because there’s nothing that can be done . And so on it goes

The answer I was given by my aboriginals mates father was ""he called you white trash because he was probably bought up with that mentality and its a shame because we are all trying to get by in life by doing the right thing"..

Doesn't that comment concern you TT ...your mates dad said he just wanted to get by doing the right thing ...shouldn't he have an equal standing no matter what .....

Many years ago after a big night I got off the train at Ebbw Vale station , not the nicest part of town ...anyway walking under the platform to walk the 3-4 odd kms home down the highway I encountered a group of about 8-9 aboriginal blokes ..they had every intention of rolling me .....saying all this stuff ...then one of them recognized me ...we played a bit of rep footy together ..turned out I knew 3 of the blokes in the group

And then we were all talking and laughing together ..weird experience ..

But what got me was they didn't know me from a bar of soap one moment and we going to beat the crap out of me ..next minute they are fist bumping me like we are besties ...probably says more about ALL of us as humanity

As for your situation why would they want to roll you in the first place,isnt that doing the wrong thing...after recognising you things changed why???
I would say the mentality they have,trying to stand over someone because they were in a big group...poor...

My point is he shouldn't have to worry whether he did the right or wrong thing to be treated an equal ..we've all had brain farts on the piss or in a moment of anger ...

Imagine some areas of Sydney have some stations like that ....

He wasn't worried about doing the right thing to be treated as equal. He was basically saying everyone should do the right thing by each other and humanity. Everyone, regardless of race/colour.

This was my whole point . In Aus this is generally true . Sure there’s probably racist cops , but it’s not the USA. Where blacks people really do have something to worry about . It could be the gun laws , it could be inherent racism , it could be a culture that attracts predators who feel the need to get one over someone else . It’s probably all those things . Hence what the marches are about

My bad turns out it was named after...... the person who first created that cheese . It’s literally named after a guy named [This word has been automatically removed]. It’s an unfortunate name , but it’s pretty offensive to imply what Josh Thomas is implying
