LNP have a huge chance probably hung parliament though
Regional QLD to decide the election, One Nation, Palmer and Kater preferences will be crucial
Townsville big chance of going LNP

It is also nice for ANZ to have the zero carbon emissions policy by 2050... hope the customers kick up a stink about it

But ANZ are full of :hankey: so they can never be carbon neutral. Nor have they paid back the 682mill they stole off their customers. :hankey: :hankey: :hankey:

ANZ is just the start of big-business taking over climate change in this country. Let's see how Scummo and Fraudberg react when it finally becomes obvious that they are the ones dragging their knuckles on the issue while reaping in rewards from the fossil fuel industry.

Nothing will change while Scammo and his henchmen carry out the policies Murdoch Gina and Palmer tell them to do.Look at all the multi millions of dollars Palmer is throwing behind the LNP in Queensland to try and get more mining concessions.
When the banks show more conscience than the LNP you know we have the wrong people making policies in government

It's worse than knuckle dragging - they are actively obstructing progress. AGL has already planned to replace the Liddell coal plant with renewable energy and storage, yet the government has to meddle and call for a new gas plant.

I have closely followed Glenn Greenwald, former Guardian journalist, ever since he helped publish the Edward Snowden leaks.

He is one of the best journalists on earth in my opinion. I would say he personally leans left, but he never lets his politics influence his reporting. In an age when 'journalism' has descended into re-printing press releases or social media posts, Greenwald has stood out from the crowd.

It is sad to see him forced out of the very publisher he founded (the Intercept) simply for daring to cover and reflect on the Biden story that we have been discussing on this thread.

Please read the following story, that they wouldn't let him publish (for political reasons, nothing else).

Well, nothing new here.

If Hunter Biden was running for president this would be both interesting and relevant. But he isn't, so it isn't.

There is nothing in this story. Nothing we haven't heard before and nothing that contains a shred of evidence in relation to the actions of Joe Biden.

The Guardian ran this article in relation to Greenwald's departure from the Intercept:

I reckon all politicians should wear uniforms like supercar drivers.
That way you would know who their sponsors are.

I reckon the ageing process could be easily slowed.
All you would have to do is make it into a bill to be put before parliament.

Trump, who is a convicted Rapist and Felon claiming doctors get paid more when someone dies from Covid. It was inevitable the closer we got to the election, the more unhinged he’d get realising it could all be over. This on top of him claiming that Biden would be shot after 3 weeks in office.

If i was cynical man i could think that would be giving the green light to one of his unhinged RWNJ supporters to do something crazy.

Not at all there have been many politicians from all sides of politics who lie,but not all politicians lie as badly or as often as Trump, who is a convicted Rapist and Felon. It is hard to believe but some politicians even have integrity though the list is short

“It’s 2020. Why didn’t you just scan the documents and email them? I mean they’re probably not originals anyway...”

I feel sorry for those who believe any ex-President is going to end up in jail.

What about Tricky Dicky

He didnt go to jail?

Why do I need to?

I have answered that question in this thread recently
