Will be interesting to see if Dutton has to appear at a federal ICAC.

The moderates and competent operators seem to have disappeared from the libs in recent years. Julie Bishop, Christopher Pyne, Mathias Cornann…and now Frydenberg.
Are/were Mathias Cormann and Josh Frydenberg really considered moderates?
Weren't they the two who were photographed puffing on a big fat cigar in the Parliament House garden after delivering a budget that was going to well and truly screw Us little people?

This. Very small percentage of anti-vaxxers/cookers, they are just incredibly noisy/annoying.

I think the same thing can be said for basically all conspiracy theorists. I reckon in America they constitute say 10% of the population. Over here it's probably 2% or less.

They are morons who just can't accept reality.

They were talking about another treaty where the NWO is taking over. I am pretty sure they said it was meant to be signed on the 22nd May.

Another piece of BS that bites the dust.

How they keep falling for this conspiracy theory BS astounds me. I don't get it at all.

Good point re Frydenberg, seems he voted in lockstep and never crossed the floor so probably generous calling him 'moderate'.

He seemed uneasy when questioned about the transphobic/wedge stuff happening around Deves, though didn't actively speak out against it.

The cigar incident was Hockey and Cormann. Cormann even if not a true 'moderate' was very highly regarded on all sides of politics and the party is much worse off without him (they're not exactly swimming in talent at the moment).

Fair points. You're not a moderate if you're not prepared to vote along those lines. That's why a lot of the moderates got shafted. One thing I'll give the drys is they are prepared to back what they are behind all the way down. The wets are gutless and will roll over to appease the drys, the moderate Liberal electorates tossed them for that reason.

Ooh the COALition apparently has been dissolved and is subject to negotiations. Barnyard is under threat and Chester the Vic moderate National does not like Dutton. Can it get better?

Apparently the seat of Cook is now Liberal heartland after Bennelong etc are no more. Scomo suffered a swing of 6% against, which is embarrassing really. Rumours are suggesting Josh will relocate from Melbourne to the Shire.

Not a shock. Laxale is well regarded locally and Kennedy was a significant step down from John Alexander. Kennedy also made the foolish misstep of deliberately courting anti-vax sentiment which people directly told me on Saturday put them off voting for him.

Jane Hume on 2GB this morning. Apparently Australian voters are dummies

Jane Hume on 2GB this morning. “Liberal values are very much Australia’s values, and I don’t think that Australia understands that anymore.”

Mike Pezzullo tasked by the Acting Prime Minister to undertake an investigation into the asylum seeker boat arrival on election day and report to govt. The SMH article advised the Govt would investigate the boat's arrival after senior labor members questioned the timing of the announcement and the Liberal Party's mass text messages to voters

“We’ve asked the secretary of the Department of Home Affairs to report to us on the circumstances of the issuing of the media release on election day,” Marles told Sky News on Tuesday afternoon.

“It was not routine. These are matters which should not have ended up in the public domain.

“And what’s really clear is that the former Liberal government was far more interested in its own political interests than in the national interest.

“It sought to create division where there was none.”
