Firstly it's people awaiting trials.
Secondly they're allowed to vote in all elections not just the Democrat primary. It's a state law.

Whilst not at the levels of collusion, outright lies, personal attacks and interference with justice over the Pacific, the state of our federal government is becoming increasingly poor on the back of that example. It now seems obvious that the prime minister's office had been intimately involved with the myriad of rorts in a number of grant schemes and is complicit in covering up these matters, including fraud by falsifying documents.

This comes on the back of interference in investigations that has our federal police not even questioning Angus Taylor over his political attack with the fraudulent document he provided to Murdoch media, nor Cash for her involvement with previous raids. Sure, these are not the first indiscretions, nor limited to the coalition, but it goes against the whole foundation of our parliamentary system, to have no accountability at ministerial level, with only her gun club membership conflict of interest being the reason for the deputy National's leader resigning.

For those that condone such actions on a party prefered ideology basis, how do or would you treat your child for acting in a similar manner?


It’s called politics ..Romans had it down to a fine art .. honestly it’s politics ! no use trying to justify left or right in 200 yrs it will be exactly the same . Politicians are grubs and will say or do anything to gain power don’t get an ulcer over it .The left of politics bankrupt the right balance the books and the cycle goes on and on .

What do you reckon the chances of this government taking the long term advice of both economists and business, in using the just about guaranteed to be most effective stimulus injection of raising the the newstart payment?

Absolutely zero. This govt is way out of touch with what is actually needed. I suspect the stimulus will be aimed at business only and provide very little for everyone else.

Yep Labor’s stimulus paid dead people / dogs / cats and people living in other countries just saying but I guess that’s ok !

And it worked - go figure. This govt is so devoid of any economic management they have a pigs chance of pulling this country out of the hole that it is in.

The party has certainly pushed nearly all it's favour towards Biden of late, starting with the game changing endorsement by the black senator or governer prior to the South Carolina caucus. Trouble is that Biden is very much right when compared to Sanders and far from representing the expectations of many voters.

As such, assuming that the trend will continue, I expect that Warren will become his running mate, as they cannot afford to lose many of his supporters. With her presence acting similarly for the left, to the foil that Biden was to make Obama more palatable amongst the "swamp" sections of the party.

My initial thoughts on today's stimulus package are favourable overall, though as ideology stopped an injection which was needed to commence last spring, I expect that it is too late to have any hope of stopping a recession. I have great concern that many people over 50 that lose jobs because of the likely recession, will never gain employment again.
