I reckon Gladys would have walked it in for next election, mostly due to the strength of the opposition.

This is nothing shocking, it may well be better - the trouble is you have to get infected with a potentially deadly and very likely quite debilitating illness to get that natural immunity. Why not just get a quick and painless couple of jabs instead?

As I reflect on Morrison's press conference the other day with his complaining about "cowards" online, I expect that apart from rattling the electoral sabres it could be a precursor of further attempts to curtail criticism and help his media enablers fill their pockets at the expense of independent journalism instead of meaningful policy.

Then I remembered that he only has a majority in parliament because one of his own in Andrew Laming who created numerous accounts to attack others online, including his own constituents.
