All I care is they get to finish the job they start and see out their initial contract
I think recruitment wise and sponsorship wise Bennett is a no brainer
Whether Bennett's taking the role for the right reasons has me slightly concerned
I don't know if Madge has pulling power recruitment wise , but you know what your getting
My head leans to Cleary 2019 ,Bennett 2020 but I wonder if anyone's heart will be in 2019 if this happens and how much momentum this will kill in the playing group

Would both continue coaching their respective national teams if taking the wt job? I've got no issues if whoever we appoint did continue coaching England or NZ.

Bett Hodgson not ready to coach at NRL level just yet a couple of years under Bennett/ Maguire perfect scenario. Whoever we end up with won't sign a 1 year deal it would have to be at least a 3 year deal.Bennett with his Broncos contacts would be ideal Maguire what you see is what you get and his ties to the Kiwis could work for WTS
As this saga has gone on, my feelings that we absolutely must not have Cleary as coach in 2019 have strengthened. Any solution but Cleary again, is my view.
A lot of fans on here are talking about how Bennett will bring players with him and how if he stays at the Broncs next season he might even have more pull with more players following him. Wouldn't the Broncos management be concerned about this? Wouldn't they consider letting him go earlier to avoid it? The difference is that maybe he doesn't want to go, so he hangs out and now they are put in a position where they have to pay him out to halt the possible future exodus of players.
Who knows? If it has to be that Bennett could only come in 2020 then I'd be biting the bullet and going for Madge.

Like him or love him his man management is first class.
Benji knows from the inside what hes like and gives a glowing endorsement.
Think of the players and recruitment opportunities that would come to the club.
Perfect to sign the next Gareth Ellis or Pom superstar.
The membership and gate would increase.
There is too much upside with a potential Bennett Deal.
