While we're on this subject ( sort of ) I played jersey Flegg, President's Cup and u'23's against a few goodun's. Played with Pearce and against Kenny, a Mortimer, a few stars... and you know when you're out there who's fair dinkum and who's not. It's obvious who's going on and who's not. ( me ) Those guys were always outstanding and I'm sure it's the same today. there's plenty of good young footballers around but there's very few outstanding footballers and they're not hard to spot. The Koula's, the Walshes, the Tagos and the Mays. They are outstanding and they are the players you make a play for before they become million dollar stars. Get 'em early....that's how you win a comp..

Played Rugby from a young age as a centre because my hero was Reg Gasnier (even though i was a Balmain fan at the time) - I met him when I was a little guy. From about age 11 started playing half, mostly Rugby but some league as well. Always had a footy in my hands. Played through Uni and for a few years after. Always as a half in both codes. Played a lot of touch in later years. Just loved to play the game I guess.

100% I played with the likes of Tedesco nofa Dylan walker cam McGinnis Shaun lane and every single 1 of them other than Shaun lane you could tell was going to make it from the first training session

I played in the centres and wing in the First XV at school against a touring NZ college...
Converted back to league when I went to Turvey Park for a 6 year stint in group 9...played centres and wing there as well...
