Positives

Ok so their wernt many but I saw a few out of yesterday's game

Curtis Sironen - only his 2 nd game in the back row he made 90 meters (most of any forward for us) , made 15 tackles and didn't miss one and looked dangerous , ran good lines and straightened our attack

James tedesco - had I think his best game in a loosing side was safe, great defence saved a few tries and looked to be chiming into the back line and breaking tackles

Liam Fulton 49 tackles and a try playing out of position .

Adam Blair - his effort is impressive in the middle and he chased everything if some of the others had his attitude yesterday we would have do e much better

Jack Bunchanna - 71 meters and 38 tackles in only 38 mins

Ava - looks damaging and worked hard

Overall I though our forwards were ok ESP given Robbie missed most of the game and Thompson was also injured early ( though I'm not sure if that helps or hinders) .

Our backs though especially Benji and Ayshford were crap, our wingers were poor but one week can be forgiven and I thought Lawrence was up and down , Anasta I'm still not sure

I reckon the original post nailedit.there were a few positives to come out of it, mainly developmental.

I missed the game, but i thought our biggest problem was metres differential? And considering none of our forwards broke 100m that seems to suggest we need more metres! Also, conceding less metres is obviously an asset but that might have been due to line breaks as opposed to poor line speed and winning the ruck.

Just seems like our forwards weren't as great as you say.

I thought most of the forwards had a dig especially Ava and Buchanan but the backs were poor as usual

Lack of possession drove the lack of meters -we only had 42% of the ball. Now yes this was because we made mistakes a couple from Ayshford, 3 from Benji , 2 from Simona which cost us tries.

Also we lost Robbie for the 2 nd half which meant our go forward was wrecked by not having a proper hooker ( Fulton tried hard but it is a specialist position).

This combined with our Benji as always ruining our to forward with crap kicks, poor ball playing. Our back rowers were also very poor while the props as mentioned above ok.

Don't get me wrong we were horrible, but their were some positive signs from the players above just they had some very ordinary players around them in our backs, halves and a back row which had no impact outside of Sironen when he came on

When your halves kcking and general attack is so woeful you start most sets on your 10m and the opposition on their 40 it is hard to blame the forwards
