Moses will likely kick.

Taylor ruled out Moses apparently due to on-going leg and groin issues and that he will be doing a lot of the kicking in general play…

He certainly strikes the ball well....

Rankin has been doing extra's with Taylor on Goal Kicking after training...

Rankin or Hunt, they're the most likely.

I don't understand why goal kicking should be that tiring for him?? He's 20 years old if he gets too tired from an extra 3-4 kicks a game that's pretty strange

There's nothing worse than losing a close game because of goal kicking

Who said anything about fatigue?

It's nothing to with game kicks, but the extra hours of work at training, then the problems associated with having one limb stronger than the other. If there is already a history of knee problems, I can understand the reluctance to place any more pressure on him.

In the trial game against Melbourne it looked like they had everyone having a crack and one of them nailed s nice one from the sideline , rest look pretty average. Not sure who was kicking though.

Can't wait for the season to start :sign:

I think Rankin made the sideline conversion, although he also missed two other sideline conversions. I don't think conditions helped though (surface and wind conditions).

Yeah unless the technique is toe-poking goal kicking is going to put some rotational force through the anchoring knee. Knees don't tend to love that over time.

Geo's right

If people remember back to 2014 , Moses had issues with his groin when kicking v the Dogs

If Rankin %'s are about the same as Moses's %'s I don't have an issue

Small things amuse small minds , hey Forrest ??

so let me get this right. Moses won't be kicking due to leg issues (fair enough). So it's going to come down to who is selected on the wing. If Hunt gets to start Round One on the wing, he'll be kick conversions and if Rankin starts Round One on the wing or at centre he'll be kicking.

I’m assuming Marsters will be kicking tonight. The kick from Lolohea in R1 from the sideline was a beautiful thing.
