Potter interested in WT coaching position

For what its worth i just heard on 2sm the coaching job is out of Potter, Simmons, & Parish, they said Brown wants to much money. This could be just speculation though, everyone seems to be guessing.

If the media can be believed, Brownie was offered serious coin at St Helens.

Really liking the prospect of Potter.

I watched a few interviews with Potter on YouTube about Bradford going into administration. I was impressed with how he spoke. Seems like a no nonsense sort of bloke ago doesn't tolerate any crap. Just what we need IMO.

I just watched one and he seems like a really nice guy. Granted his mood was sombre given what happened to Bradford but he strikes me as a good dude. Poor guy was asked by the club to work for nothing and he said ''how im i suppose to feed myself''. I'd give him a go

Dunno LaT

I reckon I'd rather be coaching in best rugby league comp in the world on less money than coaching in the 2nd best competition on more money

Plus Brown still has a point to prove in the NRL

I reckon that would be a burning desire for him

Brown or Potter is my guess and Browns new ESL contract is massive so if he wants to coach in the big league he will have to take a pay cut that would be the same with any NRL club with his experience.

The club is managing to keep this process very hush hush considering the early press it generated. Is it because the admin are all working together or maybe because they cannot work out what to do with Sheens?

I sincerely doubt Simmons is in the running. I don't believe that Parish is in with as big a chance as what the media have said he is. If there was to be a final 3 you'd imagine 2 of those are Potter and Brown.

I think you can put Folkes in that category as well. Although, his push has come from the supporters, not so much the media

x 2 … the tigers have a number of suitable candidates for the job and imo potter would be just right for the job. we dont need unproven rookies aka parish
