Potter joins Brown at Knights...

Would have loved a Brown/Potter team at the tigers and would have loved to had Matty Head in the mix also, but we have Taylor and I am certainly willing to give him another season before I start looking at another coach. Call me mad but I think we might go alright next year, not top four but around the eight

The way that spin gets put on Competition points , and ladder positions around here, "around the eight" means that as long as we finish Around 14th position, we're sweet.

If Wests Tigers had signed on the Brown (Coach)/ Potter (Assistant) combination immediately after Sheens left the club then I sure that in hindsight everyone would agree Wests Tigers would not be in anywhere near the awful trouble they are in these days (and will continue to be in whilst both Taylor and Farah remain at the club).

Not so sure about that. We still would of had Humphries and that god-awful board that got us into this whole salary cap schemozzle so we would basically still be in the same position. The Brown/Potter coaching combo didn't really excel at the Dragons from memory so it will be hard going for them at Newcastle as well. Interesting times ahead for all involved.

I love how some think that just by getting a high profile coach all our problems go away, like they'd be able to get our current roster to fire.

What's to say if we got a Bellamy/Hasler/Bennett there wouldn't be any bloodletting? If they were in charge you'd see a huge broom go through the place.

They way I see it they have been sweeping the broom since 2012 - trouble is they havnt been replacing them with anything as good or better.

And here I was thinking that Terry Lamb was high profile
