Potter likely to be re-signed

I would offer him two years and hopefully more as the job he did last year did so much towards the result thus far in 2014.

He showed he was willing to make the big calls which was missing in the past. You perform or you will be dropped.

Blood youth and get a team that is new to help you drive change, very smart operator and remember he was questioned when he signed Pat Richards.

He will be great for us in the years ahead.

There are a number of factors contributing to our success, but anyone who was calling for Potter's head before he had a year to prove himself in the grade with his own stock and his own team had rocks in their heads.

Obviously it's far too early to laud him as the saviour as there's 24 rounds of footy to be played, but there is a fantastic crop of youth who are exuding confidence and playing out of their skins at the moment. If we are prepared to blame the coach for the bad efforts and demand a sacking, well when the going's good surely he deserves the praise.

Waiting for round 20, you cannot be serious. You don't think that other clubs both here and overseas won't be chasing him if we continue to do well. He needs and deserves to be signed up ASAP.

I agree Potter needs to be resigned but Im sure the contract $ figure doesnt need to be THAT high as we are a perfect dream for a coach.very young and very talented.
