Potter safe as houses

I think Potter will end up being another Bellyache.Hard but fair and I think he will have a long career.** In one way he has been blessed to have so many good kids coming through at the same time. I just hope some hard calls are made in relation to Anasta Moltzen and maybe Blair but I get the feeling Potter wants them for their experience in 2014

Me too, except without all the theatrics in the box during the game  In another 2 years time, I reckon we will all be amazed that there was so much conjecture over whether WT should keep Potter or sack him in 2013.

Truly….if we win 4 of our first 8 games it will be an improvement on previous years

Thats usually where we are after 8 rounds, not this year, but most seasons we are 4/4 or thereabouts after the first couple of months

If you offered that to me now, Id take it

I can see him doing really well next year and then mid season signing a lucrative 3yr extension because another club is sniffing around for his services :unamused:

Outside of the telecrap, there wasn't a great amount. I think, they really got the ball rolling in that regard to be honest in terms of rumours etc. e.g. ray hadley -> the mole

I want all of us who are currently happy to remember this feeling on the weekend post the Souths game which could get nasty for our Tigers and coach Potter.

March 2014 cant come quick enough for me….

Potter just seems to have a reasonably good handle on the young blokes, has done well in my eyes considering the injury toll, second tier salary cap and the most disinterested halves pairing in the comp. When he has the squad he wants with the people that he wants around him, I think we'll start to see some really strong results.

hear hear!

since he first got here, in my view potter has made all the right moves. i think he is excellent, and was sad to see there was heat on him.

im very optimistic with what lies ahead for potter and the tiges.

yay tigers! :sign:

X2 But I agree with "ink I'd really like to see where we are going with Defensive coaching, fitness and medical staff.

Also, it disappoints me to see people up and down like yo-yo's, reacting to and criticising every twitch. Keep a long term view and watch the results.

Yeh peoples views change like the wind changes direction.

An expected flogging at the hands of one of the premiership faves shouldnt change things too much….but we know it will to many

If they show up and give an 80 minutes performance and keep the game to a minimal disaster I think most can deal with that

If they show up and gives a performance like the last 40 minutes v the Roosters they deserve everything that is coming their way ,don't you think ??

Its clear they have no idea in defense against sweet attacking teams, thanks to simmons

I look at the reason to the cause

Effort is all that matters to me.

I dont want to see another capitulation like the second 40 against the Chooks, though with no Iosefa and with Farahs leadership I am hopeful.

It begins and ends with our halves. Our forwards are only getting better and after another off season I have good expectations.

Bells lack of time in his legs is a concern still

Bell is way too old and is only going to be used the same way Buchanan would be and Buchanan is younger and the future. I'd only play one of them. He is the weak part of the forward pack I am very concerned.
