Good to see Tamou celebrating the win with his team.

Oh wait, he plays for us... wouldn't of guessed it by the way he's having the best time ever.

What our 2010 PF side would have done to these two today, rule chang6and all.
It was tough but some ordinary football, missed tackles.
Helps when the opposition implodes.

I've bagged the traitor, Benji, turncoat Teddy, lawnmower man etc... watching today's game I think I've just got to accept we suck and are reaping what we sow. We don't belong on this stage and haven't for a decade.

Yes cleary is a worm but I'll watch the GF and try to enjoy the entrainment. Who cares who wins at this point?

Agree with this. Either of the teams that played today could field a 'second 17' against us and win comfortably.

Didn’t we beat Penriths 2nd 11 at Leichhardt??

But I agree with you that we are so far away

I can't see Melb winning this at all anymore. They're just completely shot.

Cmon Melb, do something!

lol

Mate thank god I'm not betting anymore.. I;m getting worse by the day.

That was @Tiger_Steve or @happy_tiger level jinx.

No invites to the SCG test for you ....hey Steve ...I will show Steve the art of the immaculate leave and the forward defensive prod .....and he wont need nodoze or tooth picks to keep him awake

Can anyone imagine assistant coach Maguire ever devising tactics like Cleary?

At least Madge is a man and an honourable man.

As opposed to an absolute traitor, scumbag and dishonourable human being.

Doesn't say much for people that praise him.

Of course Cleary's all those things.
But he can coach.
Ignoring the truth never helps improve anything.

Agree he can coach even if he is the coach that cost us the last 3 years by wasting all our cap on the likes of Packer, Grub, Mbye, McQueen etc. and then leaving. But also doubt that any team could lose payers like Welch and Cheese in the first 15 minutes and play 15 on 17 for the next 65 mins in a game like today

McQueen was a moronic JT signing but you are right on the other 3 failures

He was signed weeks after Cleary was coaching.

Cleary just basically rubber stamped the agreement from what i have heard, he had very little input into that particular poor signing

So we have to choose between Iv or Benji shoving it back in our face .......

We didn't want Benji and he signed elsewhere.

Ivan decided to leave us midseason and broke a contract to leave.

Think the circumstances are different.

I don't begrudge Benji doing well, I enjoy watching him play and think he's loving his fortunate opportunity. He was a quality signing for Souths.

Tying to see the positive. I have 100 times the hate for Parra as I do the Panthers. The way the Storm were today, I think even Parra may have rolled them had they snuck past Penrith last week. Parra playing a gf would have been too close for comfort for me.

Cleary made us all believe and we got shafted.
Thinking Benji never wanted to leave and will always feel WT are his club.

Might have been good off the bench, but would he have accepted that from us.
At least Robert's would have got a few decent balls and Garner would have been put through a gap.

On another note thought Harry was reserve grade today. Terrible choices and service.
At least he can't say he needs to be behind a good pack to play rep footy.
We were actually good for him.

Parramatta on last week's form would have beaten both.
Heck, the way we played against Penrith 2nd last round we would have beaten Melbourne.
I feel cheated. Backed them and Bellamy trots out "I didn't see that coming " lol.

He also trotted out the Madge special: "we trained well all week, so there was no indication we would be off."

Disgusting.

His boy is wearing a retro Balmain outfit? No issues with him being happy for his old team-mates.

There was something rather satisfying watching the Storm lose. That took me by surprise.

Never gets old seeing the Storm lose. Terrible club

I wish we were as terrible a club as Melbourne...

Storm played arguably their worst game of the season, against the second-best side in the comp, had two key players out HIA early, and lost by 4 points.

Penrith won it when the Storm had 5 sets in a row on their line and couldn’t crack them.
Contrary to those hating on Penrith I thought Melbourne laid all over Penrith in the ruck.
Cleary was unlucky to even get penalised for his tackle yet Melbourne got away without a penalty on a high shot (even if it was on the back of his head) that had the player taken from the field.
