Wests Tigers supporters can now pre-order the much awaited autobiography on superstar five-eighth Benji Marshall.

Titled Benji Marshall: My Game, My Story, the book takes an in-depth look at his wonderful career and life thus far.

Written by Sydney Morning Herald journalist Glenn Jackson and forward by Wayne Bennett, the book is sure to be a best seller and on the wish list of every Wests Tigers supporter for Christmas.

Expected release and delivery of Benji’s book is October 11.

The pre-order price is $35 and limited to the first 150 customers.

My wife won the table raffle at the Grand Final Luncheon which included a copy of book(exclusive copy I believe as there are 2 books being printed, one not available to general public) signed by Benji when released.

This followed up her being advised by Weststigers she had won a 42" Plasma earlier in the week by filling out the members questionaire earlier in the season.

She's a great lady my wife.

Just read it. Very honest and open story, i know its corny but it really is a rags to riches story. Highly recommend it to all. I'm real proud he is one of ours.

They could at least get Benji to sign the ones being sold at the club store, then it would certainly be worth it. I mean how many of them are they moving?

I'm really looking forward to it. There is a lot to his early life and comebacks from injury that will be fascinating. (the early life of Arthur Beetson in 'Big Artie' was amazing to read)

Although Hodgo and Skando, Pat Richards, Mark O Neill and Scott Prince really turned this club around, I can't think of a player that has had a bigger impact on us being the club we are now. Benji has been Wests Tigers of modern times.

On a side note, I worked in bookshops for years and no matter how you buy it, the money'll go in someone's pocket. Even if its just the person behind the counter!

I dont rate sportsman who are still playing bringing out books. The only guy to get away with it in my eyes is Stephen Waugh.

No chance of me buying a book when only half the story has unfolded.
