Pre-season training update with Mick Potter

force simona to right.

I would say giving preference of which side to play should be given to rowdy as a senior player and someone who (i think) should be given every opportunity to perform at his best.

if it doesn't work this year we might have to work some deal out with him for 2015, release or otherwise and simona can shift back to his preferred side in the latter half of 2014.

top bloke but sometimes injuries don't work out in players' favour.

I agree with the senior player getting preference of which side he plays, however ive held a view that Lawrence may be better on the right. Its just a guess, but his ability to move left is a huge problem and players are getting on the outside of him.
Im thinking it could be due to his hip if it was his right hip that went?? Maybe someone can confirm which hip he did. If it was his right, then im sure he would be better playing right side using his left hip to move right stopping those players getting around him.

Gee,glum looking bunch of guys,i hope the photo's aren't representative of the mood in the training camp.Pre-season/pre Xmas training is usually a light hearted bonding session with the real heavy stuff starting early Jan.

Toe,& ankle foot in general, can be career ending for Footballers, the injury just fails to heal in any sort of reasonable time frame in many cases.

Not half as glum-looking as the majority of us WT supporters at the end of this season Basil! Hopefully it is more of a look of getting down to business and a bit of a change in attitude from the days of our circus-like training sessions of a few seasons ago where they displayed all the intensity of a day at the beach.
Like all of us, the boys probably aren't real happy being back at work after a few months of holidays.

Yeah, you can take that slant on it,i'm also getting out of date, the seasons start & finish seem to be merging into one continuous football career these days.

It looked like they were all soaked in the photos from the huge amounts of rain we've been having. I'd find it hard to be light hearted and cheerful when you're getting flogged with fitness in the wet. I don't think that's a reflection of the mood in camp.

In wiki he is down as 6'3 ans 112 kegs…...that is a big unit, and he is mobile and has a pass too.

Im really looking forward to watching him go......and Paterson,Both big/mobile guys.
