Predicted team v Roosters?

Wackos Whispers “ Luke Garner (knee) and James Roberts (shoulder) both failed to finish and could be in some doubt. James Tamou and Stefano Utoikamanu both passed gameday HIAs and will be monitored but should be named.”

Well that should ease the decision over whether to keep Garner in the top side this week? For me, hopefully young Tuki gets a go.

You would think Mbye or Talau to the centres?

Go hard and go early Madge, we don’t have time for pussy footing around

Laurie - absolutely loved his debut for us
Noffa - with a stern warning we need more
JTJ - played ok, tried
Talau - needs to understand he’s nothing yet
Kepaoa - on notice for ball control
Doueihi- boy do we need some control from him
Brooks - told to simplify and concentrate on the game plan for 80 mins
Tamou - looked strong
Simpkin - your chance, take it
Joffa- tried hard
Luci - run hard, tackle hard, forget the fancy stuff
Simpkins - go get them kid
Twal - need more from you

Packer - need impact or no next week
Mbye - same as Packer
Garner - last chance
Utoikamanu - need more impact

Doueihi at 6, Mbye at 14, Talau on the wing. Rest of the team stays the same probably, wouldn't expect whole sale changes just yet

Yep Garner was awful but can't be dropped after 1 game.
BJ made some bad errors but he also showed why he should be in the team.

Garner has struggled ever since moving to the right edge, he has gone from being a strike player to a passenger.some players appear to be limited to one side, hopefully he is not that limited.

He is a lazy footballer. Bad decision no matter how much we’re paying him.

According to Instagram, the WT’s are celebrating “Happy Harmony Week”, this week, so you’d better enjoy this week or else😂😂😂
Fatalists are exempt.

I dont think twal is a lock.
Yes he's a workhorse and quality but I'd play him at prop. Need some Tuki.

From the WT’s site:

The Roosters, however, will likely have a number of changes for the game with injuries and suspensions affecting the Tricolours after their strong Round 1 win.

Angus Crichton is unavailable after he picked up a one-game suspension and will join Blues forward Victor Radley on the sidelines as he serves the second game of his suspension. Utility Adam Keighran's wrist injury will also rule him out of Sunday's game — potentially opening the door for rookie Sam Walker to make his debut.

Joey Lussick is tipped to come into the side for captain Jake Friend after he copped a head knock in the Roosters' big win, with Sam Verrills not yet returned from the long-term knee injury that ruled him out of the 2020 campaign.

Talented youngster Joseph Suaalii is also available for selection after the NRL granted an exemption for the 17-year-old to be able to make his debut.

Maybe a “Now or Never for quite some time” opportunity for us?

If Suaalii plays will our powder puff pack welcome him to first grade with broken ribs or will the kid score a hatrick?

Do you really need to ask.
I’m sure Joey Leuia will make it a personal battle and be outclassed.

Funny that the tigers seem to think Joey Lussick will play from the Parramatta squad. If that’s an NRL.com article that’s a bit of a bluff!

I think they're referring to Freddy Lussick who is at the Roosters.

I'd doubt it. I expect us to get tuned up this weekend.

Disagree with this.

Why on earth would we want him to be less confident. He played well with his limited role.

In retrospect I can see why the halves pairing of Brooks and MBye was unsuccessful last Sunday. Neither are natural leaders. The inclusion of Doehi into the halves this week will greatly overcome this problem.

MBye still has natural speed and I would select him as a starting winger to replace Kepoa. Simpkins to replace Garner and Jake Simpkin into the 14 -17.

He’s had his tyres pumped up enough, now it’s time to prove you belong. Nothing wrong with some honest appraisal.
