Prediction....

Sheens will be there long after a lot of fans who have had enough after 5 years of failing with a squad good enough to at least be in the bottom of the 8.

I doubt it. But even if he does leave at the end of next season it may be too late for some. I Still feel he's one of the top coaches around but there's such a thing as needing a fresh start, such a thing as things going stale. There are certainly indicators which suggest so though who do we replace him with. There's no one who's in the same league imo. Bellamy is under lock and key, Bennett likewise. Kearney wouldn't be a bad choice. I'd love Gould though i don't think he'd say yes.

That would be no coach in "the same league "as just one finals appearance in the past13 seasons of coaching…you're absolutely correct on that count!Theres nobody with this track record still employed as a coach anywhere in any sport in the world I wld think! And not should there be.
Its not just a matter of having a "fresh start",where players respond to the coach's directions(which wld be a nice change from where we are),but also having a coach who can actually develop players to their potential, having them play together as a team,& player selections based on on field performance rather than the "buddy" system
Sheens has absolutely killed this teams' on field performance for the past 4 years & is about to do it again in 2010...& almost certainly again in 2011..do we really have to wait until 2012 to become competitive??
Im flabbergasted Rex!
