Well it seems like the race is on towards a top 8 spot. Who's going to take home the prize this year?
I think the Broncos are looking fine their got a good mix of experience and youth their young players have enough games under their belt now and are in form and playing with confidence, their defence keeps them in every contest. They'll be there and be real hard to beat.

I think that after last nights game,Souths will be the team to beat. They look strong all over the paddock and they just seem to click.

I'm gonna say Broncos vs Souths Grand Final. I feel as though Souths are building some kind of momentum like us in 2005 . I think one team will be unexpected there . I' hoping the Tigers vs Souths Grand Final the stadium will be rocking.

I don't think I could handle a golden point loss to Souths in a grand final. They always see to fluke wins against us.

Didn't think of that hahahah!!!!! They wouldn't handle the big day (that's what i'd hope).

Souths vs Bulldogs Grand Final. Broncos have no extra gear to go to. They're deadset a myth hyped up by Lockyer and Lewis (I don't blame them for inflating the Broncos power, I just don't see it whatsoever).

If Souths and the Dogs make it to the final, it's the return of attacking football in the NRL. Not since 2005 have two attacking-minded sides made a Grand Final (Manly, Storm and Dragons are all defensive teams).

I think the Broncos will get it. Far and away the best forward pack in the NRL, and plenty of flair in their backline. Wallace may not be the greatest halfback, but he has a cool head on his shoulders.

Melbourne will fall over when it matters, like last year
Canterbury don't have the halves to do it, Keating is garbage and Reynolds is untested in the big games
Manly just don't have the same aura they had last year
Souths have a similar problem to the dogs
Cowboys always fold after origin, will wait 3-4 weeks before making a call on them
Cronulla are in the same boat as the Cowboys
Warriors may have left their run a little late but if they sneak into the 8 can cause serious damage
We are in a similar boat to Manly, because our attack is below par and we can't destroy teams like we did over the past 24 months

Everyone else I think has left their runs a little late.

I still see the Cowboys as a chance

Good forward pack , solid backline and the best No 6 in the world

Sounds like our mob.

Just wish we didn't have marshall feeding the scrum - I miss his scrum based plays.

We are slightly different Underdog , we have other best no 6 in the world playing 7 , as you do when you are trying to win a premiership and get the best out of your side

Too far out to make a call yet. I reckon Melbourne and manly will not get there. Broncos look strong so do souths and dogs. Warriors will be in the mix. Look for titans to make a good run at it. Cowgirls aren't without hope, and of course there's us.

Personally if we don't win it then I'd like to see the sharkies get it.

There's still a long way to go and all teams are only two or three injuries away from disaster.

Being realistic…
Storm - yes but I have a feeling they'll have a hiccup In the finals
Bulldogs - for sure
Broncos - to be honest I don't think they have a leader like Lockyer was that will get then through the big games
Souths - they have the potential, don't think they'll win it though
Cowboys - no
Sharks - please, they're really doing my head in now lol, I think they'll be knocked out first week of the finals
Sea eagles - I think they can but I dont think they will
Tigers - ive always believed we can, still do, we need to improve though, some of our pet plays are becoming readable, e.g benjis grinned for the winger. Tigers by 60 in the grand final
The only other realistic chances for a top 8 spot are the dragons & warriors & warriors won't cause they are too error ridden & are inconsistent, dragons, no.
