Agreed Halbrowne - there's a reason why there has been zero people at the stadiums. A better vision would be to make it $5 tickets and get as many kids in as possible and let them go on the field after to meet the players. They would see a better return long term then having 200 people @ $45 a pop!

just open the gates, mix it up with free rural games,or hope some pit boss in a vegas casino can see a % in it,The premiership year is to long anyway,offer the best team after 2 rnd's of nrl 100 000$, as a bonus for who can string 6 sets together and a kick to the corner each time,bonus points for under the sticks,For the most monotonous times during a game

Probably some idiot in finance would have calculated the maximum number of people they can accommodate with minimum cost.

Im guessing its the same reason the games are all played at the same grounds even when it makes no sense, so fox can minimise logistics cost.

That said I enjoyed last night games Dolphins were just all over the Cowboys, bigger faster stronger, ran harder, tackled even harder, kick chase excellent defensive attitude all over the cowboys...impressive performance...they had more hunger desire and will.

I like the trials,

This is a big step for the young or fringe players to show attitude on a larger stage.

I do to. They are not meaningless.
The results should be treated neutrally, however they do provide insight into what’s been happening over the break.
They give the coaches great data to use for extra work and what to expect later in the season as well.

Much prefer to go to LO or Lidcombe for $5 and watch the SG Ball, Flegg and H. Matts games and check out the possibles and probables. Same vibe!
