My money is on Twal definitley jumping him in the pecking order and I actually think Sione Fainu and Johannssen will play more first grade than him this year.

Klemmer is just too slow. The effort is there but he doesn’t have the lateral movement in defence and he looks like he’s moving through wet cement when he’s running.

All speculative at this stage but if Bird starts at lock. The 4 x Prop rotation for R1 will most likely be May, Klemmer, Hunt and Pole.
If Johannssen starts at prop in NSW Cup and kills it…. He might jump Klemmer after R5 or so.
If we are player our best players and not trying to get out of Klemmer’s player option for 2026.. I can’t see Twal replacing Klemmer on form alone.

I hope so, because WT will have a damn good platform to play on the back of if the others are playing well and consistently enough to surpass Klemmer's output last season.

My pick is that Toa will start round 1. I think they know that he played injured whenever he played last year and they’ll be happy to get him back full strength. If olam not fit it will be Douehi and Toa in centres.
