Wests Tigers NRL Head Coach Jason Taylor and captain Robbie Farah spoke to the media following the side’s dominating 50-16 victory over the New Zealand Warriors at Campbelltown Sports Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

Taylor was quick to praise the skipper for his man of the match performance, and was happy the side played well for departing stalwarts Keith Galloway and Pat Richards.

“I thought Robbie played great today," Taylor said.

"The whole team was really strong and they laid a great platform.

“It was a great day for Keith [Galloway] and Patty [Richards] and everybody at the club because it has been a tough year. They’re legends of the club.

“As we’ve done in numerous times this year we’ve can shown what we can do, we just need to build on that consistency going forward and every week."

Captain Farah spoke of the importance to secure victory with the side’s goal to get off the bottom of the competition table heading into the final round of the regular season.

“I was keen for a big game," he said.

There’s no doubt it’s been a tough week, we needed a win.

“We spoke before the game coming here to get off the bottom of the ladder and send those two boys off with a win in their last home game.

“We wanted to put in a performance to do that and we achieved both those things.”

Out of respect to the two guys who played their last home game for the club today we arent going to talk about the guy sitting next to me who was also playing his last home game for the club today.

What a joke of a situation :crazy

Yep,sounds like the coach & playing group just got on with the job at hand (getting off the bottom of the ladder).

This press conference almost confirms that Robbie will be at the club next season.

Whether or not it's in the first grade squad is something else entirely. It is going to be one very very interesting pre-season.

They said they would not talk about the Robbie farah fiasco and that's all they talked about the whole time.

Thank god eh???
Havent we had enough of it?
A rare rare win….50 freeking points and people prefer to talk about the drama...pathetic

I still think Souths will nab him and we will pay $600k x 2 for him to play with them. So just as the "house finances" are being put in order we will once again make a poor decision based on someone cant play nice with someone else mentality. I really wish our "Interim CEO/Head of Football Operations would explain how this benefits the club when it is crystal clear we lack depth in our playing roster. But no we will get another letter from Go and more political speeches from JT!

Where did it almost confirm that? I don't think anyone is wiser to where he'll be playing after watching that.

Robbie was asked if he was treating it as a farewell to the home fans and he blatantly answered "NO"

On another occasion, he said it wasn't a goodbye but rather a thanks for the support.

As if that isn't enough confirmation from the man himself. They can't force him out.

Media giving humans what they want hence theres no good news week where all is reported is good news.

gotta watch a couple of times to digest the body language of these 2 guys

http://www.foxsports.com.au/video?v=tigers-press-conference_1227505089092&vc=222

starts with robbie looking like he's going to bite his lip off

JT as awkward as ever but hey not everyone is barrack obama .

interesting interaction between the 2 at the end when they look at each other . kind of makes you think some bridges may be mended in the next week .

fairly interesting, Robbie doesn't want to go and doesn't really have to and if he can produce that kind of performance consistently, hell if the whole side can produce that kind of performance consistently then he'll still be in first grade next year.
