How does this guy keep his job ? The club has gone backwards rapidly under JT's tenure. He spins everything and blames anything or anyone other than himself for poor performances.

Really reluctant to move Lawrence to the centres because he has been going so well in the backrow and he didn't want to disrupt that…That'll do me.

Yep, he looked quite flustered and out of answers in that press conference. Woodsy looked less than pleased with being there.

JT points out where things went wrong, broadly speaking, and its the usual things like needing to toughen up, defence and so on, but what would be interesting to know is how he goes about addressing these things with the players each week in order to get an idea of whether he is a good coach tyring to do his best with a very average team or whether he is a poor communicator and has an inability to develop the team, it would assist with trying to work out whether he is just a good talker (at press conferences) or a bloke doing his best with not much to work with.

No Willow,he had the same answers,we need to play for eighty minutes and what the team needs to learn will take time…same every week, the way he is going you and I and a few others will be in the retirement village playing dominos and euchre...

Could he have sat any further away from JT? It's almost time for a board statement on JT having their full support

How many times does Taylor want to hark back to previous seasons in press conferences?

Ok he might be right we have been a failure for years. However to me it just seems childish and thin skinned. Its almost like he is trying to distance himself from the club at every opportunity. None of this mess is my fault etc

He would be better off saying I need to do a better job on the training pitch and motivating these players. Players must watch his press conferences and roll their eyes.

I just cant see this ending well. Our roster is ordinary and there are no moves to improve it for next year. Other teams from the bottom are making their move and we are in quick sand. Throw in the bad body language and the vibe i am getting re taylor and you have a recipe for disaster.

And about 14000 fans who turned up today and 9040 members. Seriously….what has this club become under his coaching? He is taking money under false pretenses.

That'll do me too …. He could have moved Moses into the centres ... Anything but Lovett.
He did no favours to Lovett by leaving him there either. Poor kids confidence is probably shot to bits.

I would love someone to ask him whether he can achieve success with the roster he has.

There is no easy fix to this and whinging about where we are at is not going to make the process go any quicker. His roster is worse than what Potter had and it shows. The wallet must be empty as I am sure JT would love to strengthen the current weaknesses if he could.

I hope he is the man for the job as he is the only one we have.
