Dear me

It made me angry. We had to take a moment to let Potter praise Farah while Farah sat there looking like he was trying to hold back a smile. Cliche after cliche.

Dear me

What happened Geo.

It was as if the result didn't matter…it's just sad really

I felt a bit sorry for them really. After a performance like that what do you say? Typical cliches: Distraught players in the dressing room, trained well, effort was there, everything worked for the other team, we'll be back next week and stick with us, etc etc

The real test is how they bounce back next week.

The Roosters caught us at our worst last year too iirc and absolutely smashed us early in the game but we teased a fightback before capitulating further at the end.

Well, if you don't laugh you'll probably cry.

Then cry me a river

Nah, I'll keep laughing. I've been through more than 50 years of Magpies and Tigers, so I've seen worse and I'll keep on keeping on.

Sorry mate , I meant Potter and Robbie

I'd take this over the Hopoate crap anytime

i thought the interview was fine? they were upset and said pretty much everything expected of them.

what else did you want them to say?

also, i didnt see any smirking but could have missed it. it was probably more laughing at the whole situation, like a 'hahaha…yeah... *sigh*" rather than "hahaaha what a great game!!" if that made any sense. which it probably didnt

You don't stick around for the press conference if you weren't playing football.

How about the whole team donate their earning for the week to Simon Dwyer as a show of heart, because there was none on the footy field tonight.

My emotional investment had its mad Monday the day after the Dragons game. I've completely clocked off from 2014\. Tbh i'm more upset about the Knights putting the kibosh on my multi then i am about this. The result has literally not had any affect on me at all, the club doesn't deserve my sympathy. The only person in this whole thing i feel sorry for is Potter.
