Pretty Far Out There Idea But Could be an explanation

Short term pain. Long term gain is how I'm thinking right now based on some of the talent coming through the NYC, along with the players already bought.

Yes we have talent coming through , but we always have talent coming through and apart from when he is absolutely pushed through injuries he doesn't use it

Still doesn't explain what we are going to do for a half back next season

I reckon their is a good chance he has signed Lote and that is why he is pushing others out

With what Sheens has done in the past 7 seasons , why would someone suspect he got hit with a common sense stick all the sudden

with only the single test match in mid october against the kiwis i think that could be a real pivotal moment for us. once manly are knocked out this week kite will be announced apart from that i dont think we'll hear much more until the october 13 match

So you are saying sheens has agreed to do the dirty work for the new coach and then head to the warriors???

Not at all… Clearing the deck now allows the finger to be pointed at Sheens for being the bad boy. Sheens leaves, everyone is happy.

The new coach comes in looking squeaky clean even though it is his decision to kull the squad.

Sorry tiger watts don't see sheen's ego would let him do that ..why would he do that..what's in it for him?

Possibly a million dollar payout? Maybe that's why we need to makes a lot of money very quickly by wielding the axe? Coach might not be part of the cap but all those zeros have to come from somewhere.

Your obsessed with Sheens… If this scenario was real, he is already gone. Due to disclosure, nothing can be released until after the Test Match. Sheens isn't cutting the players, the Club is. They are doing it under disguise while the public thinks Sheens is still calling the shots.

It happens all the time in the corporate world... I've done it a few times upon being recruited by companies.

The biggest thing for me is that the Warriors haven't named a replacement yet. If they were after Smith or a similar coach who is available, would it not be sorted by now? I mean if its not Sheens whats keeping them from making a decision? Same could be said if they were to name a caretaker in order to pursue Bellamy for 2014\. I'm not prepared to rule anything out until the Warriors have named a coach for 2013\. The longer it drags out the more likely it could become.

Why not? If Sheens is gone, what would be the point in waiting until after the Tests?

If its a Warriors thing, and Sheens is moving to NZ requiring him to step down from the Aus job, why wouldn't he still coach out the Test side this year and step down over the off season? Its not like they would sack him weeks from the first Test.

Here is an idea Highno isn't worth 3 yrs in the nrl and beau while a good player as a winger isn't where we want to be spending our cap with koriobete, noafoluma both stars of the future ( if not also now) .

sorry bazza but to me, nothing you said makes sense.

it's all a cover up? i dont think so. it just feels like the club is making things as they go up.
ffs, why cant they be more open to the fans about it? i dont wanna know EVERYTHING, but humpty or whoever the hell is calling the shots needs to realise that this is not JUST a bloody business. it's a club where most of your money comes through fans and as stakeholders in your club, we have the right or it should be your courtesy to inform us of wtf is going on in the club.

before anyone shoots me down, i dont wanna know of contracts before they're done but things like moltzen/ryan deals, were they actually finalised? if they weren't, then ryan needs to be booted out of the club right now for saying that on TFS. also the "woods and fifita are the future of the club" nek minnit fifita signs with sharks. the club announces re-signing gibbs nek minnit gibbs signs with sharks. moltzen on/off ?? who the hell knows??

just be honest ffs.

Told you he hadn't been hit with the common sense stick , after the last 24 hours what can you say

The club is in trouble , he has no plan , he is just making random foolish errors

Someone please stop the Dictator before it is too late

It may say in his contract, that he can't announce his leaving until after the season is over, or after the test etc. He may have agreed to terms with the Warriors, but to receive his payout he must stay here until a certain time otherwise he will breach his contract.
I am not sure, but I don't think he would happily be doing a new coach's dirty work. Hence why all the articles about Beau, have nothing to do with Sheens it's all on his account. "Beau will inform the WT's"
Whatever the reason, it might not even be true, Sheens could still be here next year.
