Pretty Far Out There Idea But Could be an explanation

the salary cap issues could be a club cover up so all this player movement seems like it is externally forced remember **three months ago we offered luke lewis a big figure probably close to 350k - 400k that money hasnt been wasted on something** or have i missed something in between then and now. Everything that is happening could be seen as a club in turmoil but until we know the full reasons behind everything we might be looking way to much into the surface and not everything that happens underneath

Remember, because we failed to make the semi's, the CEO said we lost $400,000 of bonuses plus gate takings and merchandise sales. If you add that to the loss of about $600,000 lower gate takings through the main competition, they need to balance the books by reducing costs next year.

obviously a cover up is not the correct term to be used but something along the lines of leaving things ambiguos and not providing full information may be what is happening for the purposes of sorting something else out. legal reasons could be behind all of the scenario as well as they may not want to say something that could jeopardise Sheens's contract and payout scenario.

The lost money though shouldnt affect the salary cap i wouldnt imagine. the club makes a lot of money and obvioulsy player payments would be one of the top priorities so technically wouldnt having the largest cap allowed the better.
