Proctor’s Lesson for Teddy

In The Australian today, Proctor talked about the importance of showing loyalty to his club.

“I’ve invested a lot of time into the club and agreeing to terms is about me showing my appreciation to Melbourne Storm and repaying the loyalty they have shown me in the seven years I have been here.”

“My heart is with Melbourne, this is home for me and it would’ve felt weird to picture myself leaving the club”

“In weighing up the decision, I just knew I would be happier here and you can’t put a price on happiness”

I wish those words had come from Teddy.

If you are having second thoughts Teddy, then it is not too late. You have until round 13 to decide to stay.

If it is only about $70k, then I am sure the supporters will band together and raise that amount. Say the word. Stick with your mates and play with the club that you should be playing with. You can get out of your contract, just have another round of golf with Moltz, he will show you how.
