This decider has the potential to be a modern day classic.

NSW have been the better side this series…It is only the individual talents of the QLDers that have pushed the series to a third game. As a team, the maroons look tired and have been outplayed....so far.

However tonight they have the chance to extend the record to 7 in a row at home in front of a crowd that will be going nuts all game. Ordinarily this would equal almost certain victory but this years Blues are chock full of players who are used to being abused by opposition supporters....a rouges gallery if you will...they wont be put off by the crowd.

Gallen, Bird, Watmough, Stewart, Hayne, Farah, Carney...they are up there with the most sledged players in the comp and rightfuly so in most instances, but have formed a side that could well break the drought...just over an hour to go...cartons on ice, pizza on the way, zz top blaring out the tunes and a dozen lunatics on my deck already half snozzled. I love my Origin...

BRING IT ON!!!!!

That trophy is coming home provided the Blues don't get stage fright tonight.

Beau Scott showed why he should never be allowed back in the NSW side after tonight. Absolute rubbish.

You guys are lucky Farah is out there…your halves have created nothing so far.

Go you mighty maroons...pure class.

Hodges try was pathetic defence from the blues. If they dont pick that up and tighten their D on the right side they will be smashed.

Corey Parker showing how under-rated he is. 2 of the 3 Maroons tries came off crucial off-loads

Yes, he offers more than Harrison. Should've been there in the first place.

Unfortunately, I think we'll have to wait another year people - QLD too good all over the park. Can't see them losing from here :frowning:

Hope Robbie has a great game but GO QLD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I thought you were from cabramatta?

No wonder we're always up against it
Down 0-6 in the series and yet again a decider in QLD for the 2nd year running
Gallen smothered by Smith, immobile while Tate smashes his head with his fist - QLD penaly
Boyd try of a soft soft nothing penalty given by an imbecilic ref
Hodges try any 6 y/o would know is a blatant shepherd which since 1908 has been a penalty

So much for a fair and equitable contest.

**NSW 2-1**
