Sack potter and sign Barrett and I won't support the club .big deal I'm a Nuffy and losing my support won't make a dint in the club.,but I'm pretty sure there's a quite a few Nuffield like me who will feel the same .pottercant coach , so lets replace him with a guy who has never coached .more of the raffle ticket mentality our two clubs have always been associated with .yes I'm filthy …

This is not the sort of job for a guy on L plates. Barrett might have some potential in the future but would prove a disaster at WT. Potter is the best guy for next year, at least he know how the place operates (or doesn't operate!!!!) If they are going to go full madcap and sack Potter then the job has to go to a expereinced guy used to dealing with a dysfunctional club. Maybe a Brian Smith type with Payten as an assistant.

not a big fan of potter,but i can't really see this being better.certainly won't financially.
i would like to see payten promoted to offensive assistant.
considering the amount of players that will be in the squad that have played under him,and the stories of potters poor player relationships,you would think payten would be a good stabilizer for them.
would look at bringing in folkes for defense and have no clue about training staff.
can't win without players,so we can't afford to treat the position lightly.
