Won't happen.
Can't tackle.
Too expensive.
End of story.

We`ve just had a great season, why change anything?

I agree massive change & new direction is needed but Q.C will not repay his huge contract fee on the field.
Would be exciting to see him in the NRL but he would be more helpful to a team that was able to cover up his glaring defensive deficiencies. Tigers have too many weak defenders already.
Like him or hate him SBW probably will earn his keep. He is a standout in attack **AND** defence.

As a Tigers fan, its hard enough having one Benji on the field.

I`d love 2 Benji`s in the side and I`m sure opposing teams would have nightmares about containing them.

Totally. Anyone that wouldn't want two Benji's must be crazy!

If he came to league and signed with any other team we would say "we should have signed him". Those who reckon otherwise are just short-sighted.

Disagree entirely two touch footy playing throw a miracle pass over the side line guys in one team would be a disaster…..........and I'm long sighted.

I Give Up… :unamused:

Really?
Then by the same thinking if Dugan or Hayne became available then you wouldn't want them either I guess.

Why don't you just come out and say "anyone who is even moderately exciting shouldn't be on our wish list"

can't tackle, can't kick under pressure, and passing game under pressure is terrible ….......... I think we already have one of these players, two might be a little too much even for sheens .........

exactly right, I think Cooper would be great at league but we already have an unpredictable mad scientist type, two would be a disaster

same with Todd Carney, I don't think he'd go well next to Benji

At a fair price I would love to get Hayne or Dugan.
Yeah Sandow is an "exciting" player who couldn't help a dud, rubbish roster. Also he chewed up a lot of valuable salary cap.
How much will QC cost per season? Will his knee hold up?
QC is the icing on the cake for a gun team that could cover his suspect, weak defence.
First priority for the Tigers is to pray a team like NZ want Sheens now so we can avoid a huge payout
& use our depleted cash to get the best available coach.

Dugan and Hayne are far better all round footballers than Cooper. Your argument doesnt hold water.

I think none of our arguments really hold too much water. It's all speculation - i.e. there is no proof that Cooper is worse or better than any other player as long as he hasn't tried league. I really have no idea, but I'd rather find out with him here than at another club. For me he is worth the risk.

If he found last years' super rugby form he would be worth the punt without doubt! However the question should probably be: "Is Cooper the answer to our halfback problem?"

To that I would have to say no.

Also totally disagree with the above post _"same with Todd Carney, I don't think he'd go well next to Benji"_.
I reckon Carney would be awesome next to Benji.

QC is a non story as far as Tigers are concerned.
Sheens is THE issue.
Directors want him gone ASAP.
While we have Benji QC will not even be on the breakfast menu.
If Sheens goes maybe he will he take some deadwood with him & then we can speculate about big dollar signings.
