Quade Cooper

I've been watching this guy tear up S14 sides and am convinced he'd be a great target for the Wests Tigers.
Then just today Lote gave him a rap on 2SM, saying he'd go well in League.
He's playing in the halves for the Reds but normally plays as a centre for the Wallabies
At 22 (just) he is still young but he is super fast, super creative and very powerful with a lot (too much at times) agro.

I'd love him to be our fullback.

1\. Cooper
2\. Tuqiri
3\. Ayshford
4\. Lawrence
5\. Tuiaki/Ryan

6\. Marshall
7\. Moltzen

he also play anywhere else in the backline with ease!

Training at Leichhardt:

As good as he'd be … do we really need ANOTHER halfback or fullback when we're already trying to figure out how we can get Moltzen, Lazarus, Tuqiri and Lui in the same team? And now that Ryan is going great at fullback that adds another dimension to the problem.

I still think we need another first class prop. With Payten becoming more and more injury prone and probably heading to the back end of his career, a forward pack of Gibbs, Galloway, Ellis, Fulton, Heighno with Fifita, Cayless, Flanagan and one more on the bench would probably give the side the perfect balance.

You're right Alex, union is incredibly boring but like Kul even I was impressed by Cooper. I've worked some shift work recently and seen some of the Reds games in South Africa. He is just tearing teams apart - his footwork is incredible. If this was the old days there'd be a queue a mile long to sign him to league.

That was a good passage of play by Cooper, although half the Italians fell over or refused to touch him with complaints of a sheppard or something.

I reckon most NRL clubs would have their eyes on him but I imagine he'd be on some good coin in Yawn'ion.

are you sure

Mate, Cooper would be an unbelievable signing. Too bad the rest of the world are just starting to catch on as to how good this guy is. I think Union will lock him up for as long as possible.

sorry guys but u are looking at the wrong player, have a look at this guy,his name is Rennie Ranger plays for the auckland blues one of the best centers running around in the rara ranks,he is a dead set star of the future, mark my words.he can play.

The only "Cooper" im interested in comes in a Sparkling, Pale, Light, Stout & Vintage Ale's !!!

Your 100 per cent correct
62 pilsner isn't a bad drop either
but you can't go past the pale - tap or bottle its beautiful.

He would be an absolute sensation in League. He`s the type of player who`d be much better suited to League than he is to Union, BUT he`ll soon be on about 1 million per season on Union, so no hope of him coming to League while he can earn that type of money. Adam Ashley-Cooper and Drew Mitchell would be top class League players as well, but they`re in the same boat, they are on big money playing Union, so not likely to come to League.

Anyone saying he wouldn't be a good signing, has rocks in their head. Unfortunately, he will stay in union though.

Great player, but if he can keep out of" the big house" after some pretty heavy off field antics no NRL team would be able to pay the dollars union will throw at him.

Ps due back in court soon and a real chance he could get a stretch

That's what I think… Like Kul said... he would be an absolute sensation at fullback!

There is no questioning his attracting prowess, but can he tackle.
Like most rugby backs he is a turnstile in defense.

Hah - you haven't watched much rugby lately. Not too many turnstiles amongst the top players these days, now that it's fully professional, they get paid more than the other codes and have league defensive coaches. Just look to Tuquiri - he wouldn't have made the NSW side this year, but he's tearing up the NRL. There is a huge pool of players out there is rugby who would be sensational in the NRL - and I agree that Cooper is one of them.

Pretty sure old Bill could run over and past this turnstile providing he didn't stop when Cooper call touched.
