Queensland team 2017

Cronk and Thursty will be tough to replace but in time they will be…just as the King was and Alf and Locky... The candidates including Hunt, Milf, DCE, Morgs, Munster, Norman, Croft will pick up the mantle and do well. Nott worried in the slightest. The forward stocks are the concern.

For game 3 id make very few changes.
DCE in for JT as he is in the top 3 halves in the NRL this season. He and Cronk will gel.
Oates, who did nothing to deserve axing from game 1 in for Boyd pushing Gags to the centers where he was one of QLDs best in game 1.

Any forward injuries and id bring Kaufusi in.

I'm with Stryker, Oates to walk back in and DCE to partner Cronk. Morgan would be a good fit but game 1 showed we need a kicking game from our 6 otherwise it puts too much pressure on Cronk and Smith, especially if the latter will be doing the conversions.
Wouldn't mind Watto's Thaiday to Papalii, but doubt it would happen. Papalii is young enough to fit the 'next generation' but hasn't earned his spot by any means.

DCE will never play for QLD again. Has fallen way back behind the queue.

Papalii is carrying an injury, but will likely still be selected. Thaiday is finished in the SOO arena.

If they want to keep Gagai on the wing (which they probably should given his performances in the first two games and his suspect defence for Newcastle at centre) then who else is in line to take Boyd's centre spot? Munster would offer a lot more than O'Neill. I'd go with: 1\. Slater 2\. Holmes 3\. Chambers 4\. Munster 5\. Gagai.

Tautau Moga is a left centre who is big, strong and perfect for origin.

The Queensland Maroons have called in Storm pivot Cameron Munster and Broncos halfback Ben Hunt for next week's State of Origin decider at Suncorp Stadium.

Munster and Hunt replace injured Maroons stars Darius Boyd and Johnathan Thurston, with Munster set to start in the centres and Hunt expected to come off the bench with Michael Morgan likely to slot into the starting side.

Queensland squad for State of Origin III
Will Chambers (Melbourne Storm)
Gavin Cooper (North Queensland Cowboys)
Cooper Cronk (Melbourne Storm)
Dane Gagai (Newcastle Knights)
Matt Gillett (Brisbane Broncos)
Tim Glasby (Melbourne Storm)
Coen Hess (North Queensland Cowboys)
Valentine Holmes (Cronulla Sharks)
Ben Hunt (Brisbane Broncos)
Josh McGuire (Brisbane Broncos)
Michael Morgan (North Queensland Cowboys)
Cameron Munster (Melbourne Storm)
Dylan Napa (Sydney Roosters)
Josh Papalii (Canberra Raiders)
Billy Slater (Melbourne Storm)
Cameron Smith © (Melbourne Storm)
Jarrod Wallace (Gold Coast Titans)

Queensland is dumb.

You don't debut players out of position in an Origin decider (Cameron Munster). They should've picked Oates or Moga as they play in the outside backs every week.

Ben Hunt is a big call, especially with DCE playing out of his skin.

I would've gone

1\. Slater
2\. Holmes
3\. Chambers
4\. Gagai
5\. Oates
6\. DCE
7\. Cronk
8\. Glasby
9\. Smith
10\. Wallace
11\. Cooper
12\. Gillet
13\. McGuire

14\. Munster
15\. Papalii
16\. Hess
17\. Napa

WOW - They really dislike DCE.

Either way Im happy, Who knows… Maybe my beloved Blues may not clutch Defeat from the jaws of victory after all.

There is an obvious bias against Daly and no matter how much people dismiss it as rumour, it is the truth.
Ben Hunt is a terrible selection. He has been kept out of first grade this year and for good reason. Oh well…its still a good side, but once again these bonehead selectors wont put the best 17 available on the field.

I didn't think Munster eas ready..must not want Gagai defending in the centres…

Underflogs more like it…well at least there supporters are...Won 11 of the last 12 series still have the best hooker/half/fullback combo in the game...give me a break..

It's a simple case of the 2 fold Queensland supporter mentality..If they happen to lose ..Oh picked the wrong team..If they win..Oooooh we are the greatest overcame all the adversity....Origin is all about Queensland the myth continues blaaaaaah...you twats aren't fooling anyone...Underdogs...lololololololo...

Compare the packs and benches Geo, then you may understand. Spines alone dont win origins.
FTR I have us losing tonight then winning the next 2.

BUMP :roll
How do those apples taste?
