I think the players should were a patch on their jersery this year with Mosese name on it like the Baltimore Ravens did this season with the name Art on the patch after the death of Art Moderell their fromer owner.

Its terrible, such a tragedy…..your idea would be a fitting tribute...similar to the Warriors & Sonny Fai a few years ago....Mosese started this season, in a posthumous way he would be on the field with his mates- for the rest of the season

We did the same for one of our hockey players who died just before the start of the 2012 season,we got his number sewn on our sleeve and retired his number, his family were very appreciative.
RIP Mosese.

My heart goes out to all the family, friends and team mates of Mosese Fotuiaka during this terribly difficult time.
I came across his family once at a club function…very large and close family you could see how very proud and happy they were with what Mosese had achieved.... such a tragedy.
They are now left with intolerable pain and questions as to how his mind was driven to such a dark place.

I would go a step further, either for Round 1 or more likely Round 2 as it is our first home game, I would name Mosese in the starting 13 (e.g. number 10), then have a player wear the 18 jersey leaving the 10 vacant for the game as a mark of respect and rememberance.

Distressing news of the death of Mosese. So many questions and so very few answers. I trust the club honours his being by providing immediate and ongoing support for his team mates. It sure puts the life we lead in perspective. My heartfelt thoughts are with those who knew him and loved him.

A huge tradegy, the preasures players put on themselves must be enormous. To most of us it is only a game but for the young men who adorn the Tigers jersey it must be everything . It doesn't matter what is achieved on the field this year there will be a sence of emptiness. RIP Mosese. My thoughts & prayers are with your family, partner & Tigers family.

No mention of concussion ?

Find it hard to comprehend how one so talented and raring for 2013 would just throw it all away.

The NRL with its billions should implement a rule on concussion and stick by it !

Let's atleast learn and implement what the NFL has finally accepted , concussion causes long term physical and mental illness.

R.I.P. Mose' , God Bless Your Family.

Think you might be barking up the wrong tree there….

Very tragic news of a life lost far too soon. Unfortunately Mosese was one of many young men and women facing similar Demons. Time for the Tigers and the NRL to start fighting this silent killer of so many young Australians.

Rest In Peace Mosese, now forever a Tiger

Sorry, I am out of the loop on these matters, are you two suggesting this was something more than a very unfortunate medical condition with his heart? I heard it happened after he sustained an injury at training.

Unfortunately yes, however I don't not wish to elaborate any further out of respect for Mosese and his family and friends

Has there been any confirmation of exactly how he died yet? I don't want to sound insensitive, but it feels like we are just assuming that he committed suicide, but I have not seen the word in any article relating to his death.
