Last year when he continually dropped people everyone on here had a go at him for it. Can't win! I don't see who could come into our team and make us any better. Somehow I doubt Madge didn't give them a grilling and tell them how crap they were

He did that after the Parra game, look what happened the next week, he has no idea

I don't think we were ever beating Melbourne no matter what he said to them and who he picked in the team. We were always getting flogged

Not like we did, we have never been down 40-0 at halftime, and 60-0 after 58 minutes, that excuse is as weak as the teams effort

Be a nice test though, see how they fair and if they show some heart unlike what we've seen this year from the regular crew.

Agree. Calling for more guys to be dropped is fine, but realistically who do you replace them with, that isn't already in the 17?
There simply aren't many viable options at this point.
Madge has been slowly debuting/rewarding players who deserve it when he can, but at this stage he is still considering, or trying to manage, the team's overall performance and playing experience over too many rookies has to be the go especially against top 4 sides.

Agreed Luc has been very poor for most of the year and is found out in defence most weeks.

He is not a 80 minute forward and should be used off the bench against tiring forwards as he has footwork and an offload.

Would have thought a few more changes in the team, however I do think this week will be a good test of who can lift as it is a 4 point round with the bye next week, We have a better draw barring a few top sides which could get us on a run if we show up.

We will at the very least know in the first few minutes if we have turned up and if we have the line speed in defence we can trouble souths. If is the key word

Very good point, kind of makes sense now as to why players can pick and choose when to have a go
