Now that the the NRL / media have got part 1 of their agenda into to the g/f next week, heaven help the sowfscum opponents next week. Who ever it will be they have no chance and will be merely making up the numbers. Apart from the sbw non play the ball in the a second half the roorters had absolutely NOTHING in 50\50 calls from the one-eyed officials tonight. Don't particularly like the roorters anyway but omg it was so blatantly obvious who the powers that be want to win the comp its an absolute joke.
Had my rant and when rabbitohscum win the this tainted comp next week it will be a phyric victory.
Cmon on the swans tomorrow and fu league and sowfscum .

Happy,if our team played the Rabbits tonight,Royal Prince Alfred would of had a fair few black white and orange jumpers in the laundry baskets,there were some very big bruising hits and the way our boys were at the tail end of the season they would of been crushed.Next year mate they have to step up about 5levels just to stay competitive …..Am I ranting Happy or do I need a Panadol or two....

I don't pay attention to the media anymore. Don't watch tv, don't listen to the radio, so its pretty easy for me to avoid all the circle jerking that will be going on. Thats one positive out of it.

JWH won the title this year from Ennis for being the biggest grub in the NRL...

I hate both teams but was slightly going for souths. I think souths had some tough calls go against them early, not the roosters
Was there last night the refs as usual were terrible - Roosters off side all night and the Melb style slowing tactics didnt work

To many it may have looked like the refs were favouring Souths last night, as has been the whinge from non-Souths supporters all year, but apart from 1 or 2 contentious calls, I reckon Souths deserved every penalty they got. The Roosters were constantly offside and laying all over the Souths players in tackles, throwing in cheap shots whenever they could. They are a very ill-disciplined side, especially when things aren't going their way. Lord knows how they won a Premiership playing like this last season, but the refs weren't going to let them get away with it last night - kudos to them.
In all, the Roosters only have themselves to blame for the penalties that helped to march their opponents down the field - then under the weight of possession, Souths superior strength and fitness levels took control. Souths aren't angels either, no team is, but last night they were certainly more focused on running hard and playing tough, without all the BS in tackles and that's why they won the game.
