Race to escape the Bottom 4

Titans always causes us grief. They have speed to burn and masters of broken play, two things we struggle against big time. My main concern is avoiding the spoon, if we finish above the bottom 4 than that’s a bonus

We also struggle against big teams with physicality…. Like the Raiders and Roosters …we struggle against most teams over the past few years …maybe the Cowboys in Sydney is the exception…

The Titans have been dreadful, and whilst they have a good recent record against us … the Tigers have got to beat them at LO…3 wins ahead of them + for and against might be enough …they beat them at LO last year with a much worse team

This may go right down to the wire.
In round 27 there are 2 games where spoon contenders play each other (Knights v Eels and Tigers v Titans) and the 5th contender Rabbitohs have the Roosters, likely at full strength.
You dont want to lose in that round Id suggest.

Do you get last weeks effort out of them or yesterdays ?

It’s a lucky dip … just avoid the spoon and I’ll be happy .. I doubt anyone thinks now that’s off the table just yet
You add Api, Luai and Bula back into the team that played yesterday and we should get a few more wins this year.

If we were to beat the Titans twice we are probably around 12th, defeat Manly at Allianz and the Cows at home as well and we finish around 10th depending on how the other games pan out. If we were to beat the Wahs and Titans (three in a row curse broken) we would be on high coming in to face the Panthers and Dogs (who we should be up for).

With the right atitude we could go on a run towards the end of the season. Wouldn't that be nice.

The reality sets in and I think about 12th is where we finish!

Warriors injury hit, Titans twice & bye

Manly and Cowboys we should be in with a chance playing at home.

Destiny in our hands, if we are good enough it shouldn’t be an issue to avoid the spoon.
Maybe that bloke who backed us to win a fortune if we make the top 8 is not so silly after all.
I still think we lack the required x-factor to win too many tight games, but Latu when running the ball certainly provides plenty of x-factor, so that helps.

Not sure we make the 8 But we should get a few more wins
Warriors - Win
Titans x 2 - Wn - Win
Bye - Win
Manly and Cows , should be good games , maybe we win over Manly
So 10 more point

Mate 9 wins for me is the goal that's a successful year up 50 percent in wins from last year

And a good platform for trying to Jag a bottom 8 spot next year

So many juniors have been exposed to first grade I think the learning curve for this off season will be tremendously good and be hungry for more

Just need another Prop in my opinion someone with 100 plus first grade games who has great work ethic and can help lead the way off field

Very difficult to gauge this team. Some thought that this was the worst team picked all year yet they played some real quality footy.

I reckon we are always a good chance of beating the Cowboys at Leichardt

We are actually almost on par with 2005. We’ve just commenced the 8 game winning streak a week later.
Not quite, 2005 featured a three game winning streak and a maximum of 4 loses in a row. We also started our winning streak from round 16 so two rounds earlier; we lost both those rounds this time round.

Going from 4 to 6 to 9 wins has always been my expectation for this year. It represents steady improvement in stark contrast to the direction we were headed from about 2016. It won’t be enough for many and that’s fine, but it should keep some stability around the club.
