Good question! I like getting the two points for them though because it makes teams like ours look better on the ladder than they really are 😂

I think that’s why the NRL persist with them at the moment as to the naked eye it gives the impression of a more competitive closer comp.

The run home is pretty decent. I think we’re in with a shot in at least 4 games. Titans twice, Cows and Manly. We should safely steer ourselves out of the bottom 4 with those wins.

Playing Manly at Allianz isn’t really a game that excites me too much as a potential win …particularly with Manly likely to be still sniffing around the Top 8 …

if we can win those and jag one other win against the better sides plus the bye puts us on 28 points for the season. Unfortunately it never quite works out the way we think it will.

I think because they were pretty rubbish that round despite beating us and even this round vs Souths. We’ll build where as they may dip. Still id expect them to come in heavy favourites.

Scratchy against us, but I thought they looked fine against Souths … had the game in the bag 24-0 early in the second half and put the cue in the rack .

Exactly! They will have somehow managed to pick up 6 points after next weekend with an upcoming bye and scrappy wins over us and a depleted Souths despite playing like shit. If Manly actually makes the top 8 it will be testament to what a weak and even comp it is this season. Even more so if we make it! lol

Should not forget the loss of Mitch Barnett for them either.

He really seemed to come from not much to Origin...

JFH, Kurt Capewell etc will make up that difference. Especially against us.

Saints are only on 18 and have already had 3 byes. They have a horror run home - their next 6 games -Roosters, Bulldogs, Cows in Townsville, Raiders, Sharks, Warriors in NZ. They then get the Bunnies and Manly before finishing with Penrith. I think they will be flat out winning more than 2 games at the most.
