Glad they will get rid of Monday night game.
Not fussed on Thursday either. 8 pm is a too late, especially for kids.( Remember NRL, Fox, Ch.9, kids like to watch footy too)
As for 6pm on Friday??? It's not going to happen. :crazy
Amen to that, day games just seem to have a bit more character about them, especially finals matches. Wish they never changed the GF to a night game. Day games are much better IMO.
I wouldn't read too much into the Friday Night 6pm game. This has been dreamt up by News Ltd and is being propagandised as such by their news papers. Don't be fooled, the NRL is in total control of these negotiations. The days of being dictated upon by Ch9 and Fox/News are over.
There is a pretty good discussion on this subject over at the League Unlimited forum in the NRL Media Watch section, where this is some really good input from people within the industry. Please don't believe anything spewed out by the Daily Telegraph etc as they are reporting to suit there own agenda.
