But i agree that he should not have been allowed to play for Australia so soon, as his heart is with Fiji and not Australia. It seems that his motivation was money. But coming from a very poor background with a family to support back home, who could blame him.. I could never turn my back on my country, but he's the one that's got to live with his decision.

If I were Parra, I would be saying " thanks for the memories". No player is bigger than the club and they either want to play for the club or they don't.

I remember when James Tamou made his debut for Australia (amidst howls of protest from the Kiwis) that in that test match 8 Australian born and bred players turned out for NZ. And yet, nothing was said about them turning their back on Australia. If the Kiwis couldn't choose Australian born players and players who migrated to Australia and grew up here, they would struggle to field a competitive team.
I think there is a lot of hypocrisy around this area of international eligibility.

Unfortunately at the moment with Parra, if they said It was raining I would have to go outside an check myself.

The Parramatta Eels and Semi Radradra’s management can confirm that Semi will be returning as expected to prepare for the club’s next NRL game against Cronulla.
Semi has also assured the club today that he will remain with the Eels as per his contract until at least the end of the 2017 season.
"Like other Eels players during the bye round, Semi was granted leave by the club to return home and visit family. This has led to some unnecessary speculation regarding his future," said Semi Radradra’s manager, George Christodoulou from Next Generation Sports.
"I have spoken to Semi directly and he would like to assure Eels fans and the wider rugby league community that he will be returning as scheduled in time to prepare for Eels’ next NRL game against Cronulla."
"He remains fully committed to his teammates and will be remaining with the Eels until at least the end of the 2017 season, as per his current contract."

Radradra flew to his native Fiji last weekend after helping the Eels to victory over South Sydney amid speculation he is to sign a deal to play French rugby.
Parramatta released a statement on Monday saying the winger had returned home with the club's consent for a short visit and manager George Christodoulou said his client would definitely be running out against Cronulla on July 2\. However, Radradra told News Corp Australia he's still mulling over his future and refused to rule out a switch to Europe. "I haven't made a decision on anything," Radradra said. "I'm just here to see my family and talk through it with them. "I'm just here to have a break."
Radradra's sister Vaseva Waqatuva told News Corp she was looking forward to helping her brother work out his future. "No, he has not made a decision yet. "He'll be on the island later this week and is coming to talk to Dad and the rest of the family about that."
Radradra received some support from an unlikely source in South Sydney prop Tom Burgess who has openly declared a desire to play in the NFL and recently worked out with five teams. "People have ambition and that is just human nature, you have ambition, and you want to go on and play in a different country and have a new life experience," Burgess said. "I met Semi in the All Stars camp this year and I wish him all the best in whatever he decides on doing. "Obviously people in the rugby league world want him to stay because he is a great athlete and he is a great asset to our sport but he has to do what is best for him at the end of the day."

If the AAP story is correct, then I hope Parra sue him for breach of his existing contract. Good luck to him for trying to earn a better contract, to help himself and his family, but there are better ways of doing this then just walking out.
Not sure what is happening behind closed doors at Parra, and if previous grievances by Semi have not been corrected with his current payments, but this is a pretty immature way of dealing with it.
I suppose we will know more in the weeks to come.

He will reportedly earn an extra $200,000 per season after tax if he accepts a deal to head to French rugby union with Bordeaux. The Parramatta winger has been offered $463,860 a season to join the club according to News Corp Australia, with the French tax rate meaning only eight per cent of that would be deducted. By comparison, Radradra loses 46 per cent of his reported $375,000 NRL salary to tax.
It's understood the 24-year-old was one of three wingers offered a deal by Bordeaux at the start of the season, however the other two have since accepted jobs elsewhere. The offer is still on the table and the rugby club are said to be happy for Radradra to see out the 2016 NRL season before joining them. Meanwhile Fiji's national coach hasn't ruled the destructive ball runner out of representing the country at the 2019 World Cup.
Radradra is still to return to Sydney to train with the Eels ahead of Saturday's clash with Cronulla. He was given leave over the bye weekend to fly home to Fiji and was meant to return on Sunday, however that has now been extended to Wednesday.

Breaking News!!! Danny Wanker might have exclusive new unverified information from an imaginary source that Semi was once spotted drinking from a bubbler while walking a dog past Star City. Had Semi not been in Fiji at the time he possibly would have declined to comment.
