Parra will come out of this season smelling like roses and all will be Tickety boo again in NRL-land, what a joke our competition has become when dealing with problems within the game…...we are fast becoming the AFL when it comes to burying our heads in the sand and sweeping wrongdoings under the carpet.
Semi is under investigation for assaulting his partner….maybe that's why he left so hurriedly.....there's always more to the story than meets the eye....
Semi has been offered counselling through the Eels welfare system re. family violence..

If he has assaulted his partner he deserves whatever penalty is given to him.
However, am I the only one who smells something fishy with this AVO?
His ex partner puts in an AVO for him allegedly assaulting her in 2014…. why now when they are already separated and we don't even know if he is coming back to the country?
If the NRL kicks Semi out because of this is he then free to go and play in France?
He won't have been convicted of anything so that shouldn't cause any entry problems.
Just another way to get out of his contract?

In between what Parra and media are saying the truth is there somewhere.
Media are feasting on it, the NRL will continue to pussyfoot around, the game cops another black eye and the Parra fans cop another kick in the guts AND are still asked to put their hands in their pocket week in, week out to support a club that has lurched from crisis to crisis all year long. What an absolute cluster for them. If this were us I'd be have to be honest and say that I'd question my loyalty to the club and game.

With all due respect to League. When you travel and live abroad you see how insignificant and small this sport is comparatively to Union, football et al. If a player does well in league and is afforded an opportunity for more money and exposure to support his family then he should go for it I rekon.

The old story,,,if they do not want be at the club for any reason let them walk, the NRL is hard enough when you have passion for your club near impossible if you want to be somewhere else.
In saying that I would make sure there was a clause that said if he returns to the NRL he has to come tp Parra and not one of the vulture clubs

Parramatta Eels star Semi Radradra is reportedly on a flight back to Sydney to again pull on the famous blue and gold. And Eels fans have just one man to thank for intervening in the latest scandal to plague the club, Jarryd Hayne. According to reports, Hayne, the Parramatta faithful's favourite son, was spotted with Radradra at Nandi International Airport and is believed to be accompanying the Fijian flyer back to Sydney. Hayne has been in the country training with the Fijian sevens side ahead of the Rio Olympics. But the former Eel may have saved his side another week of torment after he was spotted spending time with Radradra before this evening's stunning developments. "Jarryd Hayne is in Suva too, he's with the team, the sevens," Radradra's uncle Nemani McComber told Foxsports.com.au. "I think he's (Semi) hanging out with Jarryd Hayne."
The Uprising Beach Resort, where Hayne had been staying on the main island of Viti Levu, confirmed the cross-code star had left "to travel to Australia". Radradra became caught up in a whirlwind of turmoil after rumours that he was set to make an immediate switch to European rugby union emerged in the wake of his decision to take a mid-season sojourn to native country. His immediate NRL future became further clouded on Wednesday when it emerged his former partner had applied for an apprehended violence order, claiming he had assaulted her on a number of occasions over an eight-month period. He failed to return to training on Wednesday, but his manager has guaranteed that he would see out his contract, which expires at the end of next year.
The club is understood to be asking for $700,000 from Radradra should he want a release, and Seven Network reported that the Eels' demand for compensation had forced French rugby club Bordeaux to take their offer off the table.

Radradra and Hayne fly back to Sydney…Semi arrested for domestic violence and assault....I don't think he was ever going to Union...smoke and mirrors to hide the real reason for the quick exit...hopefully he gets good help to sort out his life,he is a genuine NRL star,these are serious charges,hopefully the Eels give him the help he needs...
