Keep Moltzen, let him play in the halves, Move Sironen to lock to replace Heighington, Anasta in my eyes was bought to replace Ellis. Moltzen is a young player who has speed something our backline lacks. Sign him in for another 2years, he can cover for Tedesco if he needs more time to recover or regather confidence.

LEEDS RHINOS are going head to head with Canberra Raiders for Wests Tigers full-back Tim Moltzen.

Wests have offered Moltzen, 23, a new deal but his agent Martin Tauber is said to be in talks with the Rhinos and Raiders.

Moltzen is said to be both keen at a shot in the Super League but also nervy about making the break from the NRL where he is a recognised star.

The Rhinos need a full-back with New Zealander Brent Webb off to Catalans.

You guys need to remember that teddy didn't have a incumbent fb to compete with when he made his debut as moltz was our 7 for the season
Maybe he wouldn't have been handed a debut so easily
Also next year he is coming back from a injury and look what that did to moltz when he came back

Also whilst he played well for 30mins he needs to maintain that every week of the season and he is only young

I do rate teddy and I hope he lives up to the hype but how many superstars in the making have we had who have flopped…
30 mins of good football does not guarantee anything

Personally I'd like moltz to be given 1 year extension as it will take a while for teddy to find form and be eased into fg
Also for moltz in 2014 minis 1 will be vacant

While there was no incumbent so to speak, there was plenty of competition in the club - Reddy, Brown, Humble. There was always the possibility of Moltz staying there and Miller in the 7\. To say he walked in to the jersey is a bit off the mark.

Tedesco is a true fullback. His instinct and support play in the 20s last year was second to none. Moltzen doesn't quite have that knack

I think the reason moltzen moved back to fullback was because there was no one else who could play there the way sheens likes. sheens has always liked a speedy fullback out wide running at third receiver and humble couldnt do it. Brown never got a second chance there because he wasnt quick enough and ryan wont be put back there for the same reason.

I expect, with tedesco back next year, that moltzen will move back to half, sirro to lock and anasta to 2nd row. It would be one hell of a side.

Moltzen has nowhere near the same ability as Tedesco when it comes to support play. Tedesco has natural fullback instincts, particularly when it comes to support. Moltzen is dangerous when running off Benji. Big difference.

Ur comparing the performance of a 'young gun' playing against teenagers against Moltzen, a very good support player, against the worlds best! Ofcourse it will appear tedesco is worlds ahead he is playing in a lesser competition, now I rate teddy highly and think he is the full back long term, but Moltzen will probably start fullback next year too, it took Moltzen a while and will take teddy a while to get confidence back with his knee and be at his best!
Besides, more than anything, sheens looks for a fullback who is a non stop phenomenal talker and reads defense well.. Nobody here would know what each r like in respect to talk just from watching the games each week, molts is a great talker on the field
