should never have been allowed to go 50m downfield, after catching the ball in his in goal line..Did anyone ask anybody to tell someone to tackle him?
The bombs by Brooks. Never do they land somewhere near the opposition goal line, nor do they make it a contest. Is this on purpose (eg tactics?)
The knock on that wasn't...honestly, one of the worst decision ever. Sometimes the ball goes forward a tiny amount and they call it, but when it's obvious, they turn a blind eye?
6 again calls..too many against us. Warranted, due to our ill discipline OR an overzealous referee?
Full back, 5/8 and hooker - yep, sign them up long term, and build a few more quality players around them.
James Roberts - an enigma at this point, still wondering what he is capable of.

Happy with the improvement, but will be even happier if sustained, starting next wee. A fork in our road ahead for mine...

Yeah the bombs by Brooks are a deliberate tactic and the main reason souffs were starting their sets 10m out from their line was because of them

Honestly mixed feelings about last night. We deserved to win that game but still fell short yet again..annoyed but happy at the same I can say my team played with heart and determination for the full 80.

I am still perplexed over Mitchell's elbow to Nofo's head - fair enough put him on report, but why not the sin bin as well? - such a foul act should have been dealt with immediately as Madge implied. Later we saw Talau given 10 for a ruck infringement. Go figure. Not foul play - just a desperate defensive lapse by a kid in the heat of the moment. A penalty should have been sufficient!

The game is a farce mate. The rules are strange, the interpretations are pure rubbish and nearly always reinforce a preconceived idea of who should win.

I should add that I have to take my hat off to Adam Reynolds for that 2 point field goal..great skills! Lucky they let him down after the try they scored..😕 even if we lost the game...

Tamou needs to be punted ..monumental arm grab that led to Gagai scoring .

Brooks still a headless chook on there line ...4 repeat sets and nothing

Roberts is a myth

Cody Walker needs a smack in the mouth

And finally are we really that ill -disciplined that we’re on a 7 to 2 repeat set flogging ..I don’t think so .

🤬

Reality is we are a new team and will need time. It was a solid step up in attitude. Definitely heading in a better direction signing kids with potential over has beens... Tamou aside. Lower grades are killing it.
The 6 again needs tweaking. Inside your own half or at least inside your own 20 should be a penalty still and I believe the 6 again is too big an advantage for minor ruck infringements. Should just be an extra tackle.

Tigers are looking a lot better. Doueihi taking more control is pleasing and when he does we look dangerous. Moving Garner to the bench has played dividends, and has been one of Tigers' better players the last 2 weeks. Not sure where Blore will fit in, it’s the props that seem to be underperforming not the second rowers.

3 halves in a row that we've drawn or won, first game in a long time we've held an opponent to 3 tries. I like that.

I have liked Mikaele's end of game stints. A really dumb penalty aside, he's played with a lot of purpose. There's something there.

You really, really hope the pack steps up again next weekend. This is the most depth and talent we've had up front in a long time.

I think Ofa , should be the lock , he’s way more dynamic , hence why he’s in the edge .

For me I’d have a middle of Tamou , Twal , and Ofa . An edge of Luci and Blore , and a bench of Mbye , Stefano , garner , and Mika/Musgrove/ Amone .

And I honestly think that’s how it will play out when Blore returns , as he can take the punishment and whack blokes early in games , and if he tires , Garner can come on , with mbye , creating a more dynamism m at tired forwards .

Last week, Madge said that wasn’t what the WT'S is about.
Resilience. Counter momentum. Fight. Help your brothers. Ignore the outside noise and keep working.

Watching the highlights of the game Offa was directly responsible for three tries that were scored due to being a little lazy around the ruck.Anyone know how.Tom Amone went in reserves

If the judiciary is fair dinkum he should get 12 weeks for that but we all know he wont. Probably won't even come up in the match review. Move along, nothing to see here. Garner will probably go on report for putting his face in a dangerous position, allowing Latrine to lash out at it.

To scared to do anything he'll claim he's been vilified.
