Goes to our discipline, can't have that sort of penalty count against the good sides….

Lol…..discipline was good.....7-1 penalty count was the only way Cronulla could get to the other end of the field.....

Steve 'Tedro' Lyons...for calling Benji out when Tui was penaliesd for a stip with 5 mins left telling him there have been a number of penalties especially in the 1st half against your Team ....tell em to clean it up.....Ref's

Oh.... Sheens for replacing Robbie with Morris....Get back to the Farm Tim....

If Gibbs gets that garbage out of his game I'll stop bagging him. Guaranteed to give away the first penalty of the match, always, like clockwork.

SPOT ON Hybrid!

Absolute brain dead dumb penalty by Gibbs, again, but you know he has been a revelation over the past month. He has been playing at such a high tempo and thats setting the platform. As for the penalty count, just an act a act of mercy from the men in the middle

God I can't stomach Pillow Gibbs at the very best of times but we can't have a game without him giving away first penalty! I wish you could punt on it - 3:49 into the game and we are watching him have a big cry about being caught out again in a lazy, lazy "effort" to get up from a tackle. I really did try to look for merit in his game today,as some people have been writing about his "trying" lately. While I will give respect to Payten and Ryan for pulling their fingers out,I can not do the same for Gibbs.
Looked at the 321 thread and someone actually gave him a point! He is rubbish I don't care how hard people think he has been trying the last few weeks - he certainly IS _trying_! And to top it all off we have to watch rubbish on WTV about his "talent" of spinning a ball on his finger - well I know what he should be spending his time on and it isn't that!
I'd like to push a whole bucket of raspberry's into his rough face! :imp:

lazy,thanks for the laugh.
the play before he makes a tackle while payten misses and then from marker he comes across and follows the play while galloway trys a lazy grab and gibbs makes the cover tackle.he concedes the penalty standing up and you think he is lazy.
yes he makes some dumb penalties but he also gives up penalties because of missed tackles by others that he cleans up.
i have actually applauded some of his penalties because we have been shot and a professional foul has been needed.

for someone to think collis is the best thing since sliced bread no matter how bad he plays and then call gibbs lazy shows your opinion really is worth what i paid for it.

Opinions are like a***oles Bonstonker, everyone's got one and I'm entitled to mine just as much as you are yours.
I am also excercising my right to have a player I love to hate/least favourite in the team, just as everyone else does round here Champion.

I dont think theres very many _**fans**_ here that **_hate_** any of our boys…you hate someone who doesnt even know you exist, how sad.

Can't decide:
1\. Ricky Stuart - to eventually bring teams to their knees, or
2\. Closer to home - Gibbs for the "1st penalty" tradition. If only they started this as a Sportstab betting option - every Tigers fan would be reaping the benefits!!

Yeah….. but Odds of $1.01 every week for Gibbsy isn't exactly value...........

god i hate watching bryce play sometimes. He gets penalised when its obvious it's a penalty and he turns around at the ref looking dumbfounded not knowing what he did wrong  he drives me nuts

Gibbs is smart about most his penalties. He knows when to give them and somtimes a penalty and 2 points is better then a 4-6 points.

are you suggesting that maybe sheens tells him to do that? it doesn't show confidence in our defence.

Never heard of a professional foul?…happens all the time.

Its not about confidence, when youre gone youre gone

Agreed, this year his penalties have saved us.

Very clever.

The first one he gave away on Sunday was 3 minutes into the match? Nothing clever about it.

I have no doubt some of them are done purposely, but not all of them. Most of the time he is just stupid and ill-disciplined.
