The "6 again" is the biggest blight on our game,it makes the game too fast and fatigues ALL teams too quickly if they don't have the ball.An unfriendly ref can keep your hands off the ball for extended periods and it dosen't show up in the penalty statistics.In an era of 10 meter football it is a match winner.

It can be a vicious cycle...the.attack gets multiple sets, the defense starts to fatigue...errors creep in,more defnse required...lopsided possesion and fielf position ensues...the momentum is hard to halt
Broncos spent 30 minutes in the 2nd half without seeing Manlys red zone.
Nrl love it big scores lots of tries.
 
PVL only cares about the ratings and the next broadcasting rights. I doubt he hardly watches a game. The results of games now is basically controlled by the ref and bunker. They have invented a game that has no resemblance of the game played a few years ago. Okay we see some amazing attacking raids, but usually on the back of a lopsided time in possession. Blow outs are the norm, injuries are the norm, horrendous refereeing is the norm. Love to get the game back to where it was

We didn't offer him a contract.
Neither did the dragons or the dogs.

What's a bigger blight is the inconsistency.
One game it's 20-30 six agains. (Although as you say we don't know as there's no stats) Then next game is one or two. It changes the fabric of the game. How would you coach for that?

We don’t need to worry about Clarke or Steph , we need to worry about playing 80 minutes with no sleep time during the game , that’s the first thing , second is we need to play tough up the middle , keep going straight and hard , defence will be a major factor , put them on the ground and do not let them get balls away during tackles , I see this with 2 or 3 of our guys in a tackle and the player gets the pill away , that can’t happen , last , Munster and Huges need to be rag dolled straight up , hit them hard and don’t let them run at all , grant can’t do it all , and most would target him , I say take out Munster who is playing average and Huges who always comes back still carrying injury , get them good , Royce to steam roll when he comes on and hit hard in defence , Tigers by 14 no injuries , storm will lose 2 players to injury , Huges , Munster , 😁, Steph also has a shocker , Blore if he plays goes ok , I liked him
 
How has Foz fixed up Brooks? Ever since Siebold was sacked, he's been really good - far better than he played for Siebold, and miles better than the inadequate performances he gave the Tigers.

Manly under Siebold looked like potential spooners. Manly under Foran look like potential premiers. I've never seen anything like it from a new coach without almost zero experience.
 
Young Joey Walsh for Manly has footballer written all over him and Manly are handling his progress really well. Unlike Galvin he did not want the ball all the time and was happy to let Brooks share the responsibility. He has good awareness, good kicking game and his defensive is solid, When Fogarty is healthy he should get the 14 jumper

Its not just Brooks - Brandon Wakeham at 9 has become a real mongrel - hits hard gives good ball to his halves. The guy has been useless at every other club he has been at.

Simplified his game and playing to his strengths. Brooksy likes it simple, Manly will be tough next week
